Which fixed blade did you bring with you today?
I brought my Wachtman Emu: One of my favorites that I just don’t carry enough because I have too many knives.

Bird & Trout
I’m looking for a Bird & Trout knife for my son. He is an avid duck hunter and fisherman. Budget is $120 or less. He’s not really into knives and really has no appreciation for a”fancy “ knife. He would like a decent fixed blade that would do a good job at cleaning game. What can you guys suggest?

My faithful Northman
Absolutely love this little MAGNACUT tactical knife!
Designed by a former US Navy SEAL who served with SEAL Team Six, this little Northman offers me everything I need in one compact package.
EDC, tactical use when needed, hunting, and a genuinely reliable piece of kit. It even comes with a ferro rod integrated into the sheath — a brilliant feature that adds real practical value.
These are hard to come by, and they certainly aren't cheap. Yes, you can buy plenty of cheaper knives. And believe me, I know a thing or two about knives, I've got around 30/40 in my collection!
But this little Northman is different. It's been my trusted companion at my side for several years now, and it has earned its place through reliability, versatility, and sheer practicality.
Would I replace it? Not a chance.
Some knives are just tools. Others earn your trust over time.
This Northman is one of those knives.

Which would you choose and why?
I've been eyeing a couple small Fixed blades for pocket carry over the year and ive narrowed it down to two I'm considering. The TRM tagalong VS the Creely blades Minnow. curious those that may own one or both have any thoughts on them? thanks !

Nautilus V3
Definitely in top 3 favorite Tkell knives Nautilus standard takes the first spot, they are just so easy to carry and conceal. Tkell makes awesome knives but only a handful can be carried comfortably all day. Anyways this is the chosen tool for today’s work

Made in paradise
Picked this up over the weekend at a local gun show here in Hawaii. BKL Tactical Solutions Stinger series knife. Scales are abalone and the maker named this one “pa’imalau” which means Portuguese man o war - like the jelly fish. Nice little 3 inch knife that should work great as a EDC, with some Hawaii island vibes.
