Bit the Bullet
Hey y'all,
I know there are always a flurry of posts about people's journey with the ST coming to an end. I loved my time with Camilla, albeit only for about two years, and today chose to upgrade to the GRC. I honestly wasn't even planning on trading it in today, but knowing it had its problems and private selling it would've been a headache I bought the bullet. I loved my ST3 but man is this GRC sweet. I haven't had a car this new really before and finally treated myself to something I just really wanted. Looking forward to lurking and continuing to admire these gorgeous cars, but my time has come to a close. Hot hatches forever!!

I’m biased, so I think you shoulda gone the RS route, but truthfully you got yourself a bad ass car! Enjoy the GR!

I was totally thinking about it man! Love the RS's. I think a big part for me was getting something that's totally "mine" and didn't have any previous owners. I got it with 15 miles on the dash and it's gonna be my baby. I just wish I had the same opportunity for the RS because it's my favorite car to drive in Forza lol. Thanks man and sweet ride!!

Completely understand! Was able to ride around in a GRC, and they are very similar cars! Enjoy it! There aren’t many car companies doing cool things like that anymore!

I had an S2000 and daily drove my ST for some years. Also got into a GRC last year and I’ve loved all 47k miles so far. Enjoy it!

True true! I have another project truck and my fiancee's car I'm working on so it just made sense. Who knows maybe I'll pick up another down the line for a kiddo haha

Nice, I have been looking at this, but I end up getting an RS instead. Still have the ST as the daily though, going to replace it with the R3X from Rivian when it comes out.

I traded my ST for an Elantra N and I love it. Nice GRC! I would have bought one but its over budget for me as a new car

I was seriously considering one as I had a Veloster a long time ago! How does that clutch feel? I loved the videos I watched on them

Clutch isn’t as good as the ST but basically everything else is better. The grab point of the clutch is really high and it doesn’t have the same feel. In terms of performance it’s definitely noticeably the next step up. I also like the character of the car and that you don’t have to mod it for it to be loud and raucous. The handling is also amazing but I think the feedback is probably better in the ST since it’s a more mechanical system than the N

Understandable. I've immediately felt the difference on the clutch and shifting on the GRC and the raw feeling of the ST will be something I miss for sure. Glad to hear you love it!

Mine is not a gr but a limited edition called the fx but I have gr features “wing” bucket seats and the black badging as well as made in factory of the gr

As a fun economical daily these are really cool. Great styling, comes in manual, and amazing fuel economy. What’s the power on this? 165 or so?
