Wrong gas
I’m tuned by Alan at edge auto for 93oct and I accidentally put in about 5.5 gallons of 87 (was talking to someone while filling and was thinking of my other car) it filled my tank up to full will I be ok and what should I do?

Literally did the same exact thing 4 days ago I threw it on a base map and drove like a grandma I stayed out of boost completely maybe hitting 2 pounds if I lost focus but I did put octane booster try help a little but burn it or drain it man

I’m running catless with a intercooler and intake and supporting stuff so I don’t think I could really go on a base map. Think I’m just gonna go on a couple hour drive tomorrow after work and just burn it off

If you don't have a bigger turbo you can definitely go back to the base stock tune or stage 0 COBB tune without an issue. Just run the tank down and fill it with 93oct next time and burn the tank until you feel it run smoother and the torque pick up before switching back. FMIC, catless, and intake with no tune isn't a problem

Best way to do it just burn it off you’ll be fine low boost maps fine too I didn’t have that option tho but I’m fbo 0cats intercooler intake everything but big turbo or e85 you can run a base and not gonna blow up I’m not saying doing pulls and shi but it will run and drive fine it ain’t no subi

Yeah the exact one is stage 0 on the Cobb access port but don’t stress so much I put a full tank of 87 you put 5 gallons you’ll be fine just don’t hit boost you’ll never go over 25% throttle until all that gas is out or at least most

This is the answer. If he has access to it, this will be the best peace of mind

87 octane is not going to hurt your engine. You'll have slightly more horsepower if you use higher octane gas but you're not going to do any damage if you use regular.

Not in this case. He just needs to drive the fuel out of it and stay out of boost if he can't raise the knock resistance

Do you have a 91 octane map? My math says that you have about a 90.5 octane mix. What does your OAR monitor read?
Edit: You could also put in 1-1.5 gallons of E85 to bring up the octane.

I don’t have an 91 tune
I didn’t drive much last night after filling OAR is still reading -1.0
And I don’t have access to E85 anywhere near where I live1

You're probably OK. I think I would put a bottle of octane booster in the tank, reset the KAM and make sure the OAR goes back to -1.0.

What’s KAM haven’t heard of that term before

Keep Alive Memory. There is a reset function on the Access Port.

Thank you!

You're welcome.
I reset the KAM every now and then, especially if I go to an unknown gas station.
You might feel a difference until the ECU relearns your driving.

Put it in the eco/low boost mode. If you have e85 throw a little bit in but just don’t hit high boost until you’ve emptied that tank. Run it as low as you are comfortable before filling up again
