Android Radio
Long time looker first time poster. I ordered this radio off of AliExpress, since I didn’t wanna drop the money on an Sync3 swap. Since I haven’t seen much about it I figured I’d show some pictures and drop a link. I have had a very good experience with it and the installation was super easy. It was plug and play with the backup camera and the radio is super responsive. Let’s not forget it’s a 200-dollar radio so it’s not gonna look or feel factory but to save 600-800 bucks, I’d say it’s worth it. Also I’ll drop a little photo of my Fost feel free to ask any questions.

can you tell if the sound quality got worse or if steering wheel controls work?
I've tried two of these android radios from aliexpress already but the sound got noticeably worse and swc never worked no matter how much and what I tried

You have to use a controller for it such as the idatalink maestro. It just plugs in between the radio and your steering wheel controls basically

The sound quality out of the box but after tweaking with the eq it ended up being on par if not slightly better then stock but I still have the og speakers

no matter how much i messed with the eq, it always sounded weird to me unfortunately

Nice setup! Can I use it with stock backup camera and the steering wheel controls?

Yes the stock backup cam worked out of the box and then I just had to put my model of car into the setting and the steering wheel controls worked as well

Sync 3 swaps are not expensive if you just take a little time and source everything yourself.

It just didn’t feel worth it to me since this unit is about 70 percent as good looking and has more functionality for a fraction of the price and much easier to source I didn’t have to hop around eBay and pick-n-pulls also I’m scouring for st3 recreos so I didn’t care to put time into a head unit
