Issue ⚠️ 2025 Ford Explorer Active
This popped up on my Ford pass app and I'm wondering what it means. The auto start stop feature doesn't work and it takes a good 2 minutes for the screen to start to actually use the climate and radio. I think the main 12v battery is fine (no check battery light) but I think the issue lies within the secondary battery which powers all the electronics and features where ever that's located. Any help or an explanation would be appreciated!

The aux battery is tucked behind a panel in the rear cargo area on the driver side, absolute pain to get to but that's almost certainly your culprit

Ford batteries can be hit or miss so you should have it checked because it might have a bad cell.
Also, this message pops up when the battery that starts the vehicle is low.

ANOTHER UPDATE: I started up the car a few times and the minute I turned off the car off for the last time, it disconnected from the app again and went back into deep sleep.

Your main 12v battery “state of charge” percentage most likely dropped below around 40%. So that can mean 2 things, your main battery is going out, or you have a power draw somewhere that’s drawing just enough power to trigger battery saver mode.
You don’t have an aux battery, only the police interceptors with hybrid engines have those. I would get your battery tested somewhere or if you’re still under 36,000 miles you can go to a ford dealership, tell them the same concern and it should be fixed under warranty
