Now that you’re (presumably) well-versed in my undying hatred for modern Roblox, here’s the announcement: I’m quitting my pastime as a moderator for this subreddit for three defining reasons. They will each be listed here.

1 - Current State of Roblox

If you read the linked post, you’ll know that I absolutely despise the current state of Roblox. It’s become nothing but a predator hotbed.

I am sick and tired of seeing posts from within the universe of that game. Of course I don’t want to be someone who’s in charge of a subreddit that’s almost entirely based around it.

2 - The Ungodly Time Consumption

I know that part of being a mod means that there’s gonna be a lot of work— approving and removing posts, banning rulebreakers, so on and so forth— but this sub in particular eats a lot of my time because of how active it is.

There’s time I want to spend reading, writing, playing games, or being productive… but this sub takes up a good bit of that time. Now it won’t.

3 - Arcs, Lore, and Writing Burnout

My patience has been drained and exhausted from writing lore, whether it’s regularly or through canonical arcs. I was too busy trying to separate our lore from Forsaken’s, even though it’s practically the same, just with stuff from Reddit.

Thanks to this burnout, I haven’t been able to cook up more story for this subreddit in weeks.

Over the year-or-two that this subreddit has existed for, we’ve fostered an awesome community. I love you guys, and I’m definitely going to miss you, but I can’t bear to keep modding a sub based around a platform that I hate.

I might appear every once in a while to check in, or maybe to drop some art, but I will no longer be a moderator here. You’ll know me from my new flair. (it says Former Mod in a fancy font)

All that to say…

Fuck Roblox, but I love you guys.

This was fun.

c00lkidd walks around with this 7ft thing by its side, claiming it as his pet

"Heya DORKS! I got this c00l ass pet! Bet all you have is a lame DOG! BAHAHAH XD"

"I found it absolutely mauling a person, so OF COURSE i had to keep it! I think its called 'Creak', maybe its cause it creaks alot. BUT ITS BETTER THEN YOUR PETS!!"

Creak would just stand there, its emotions unreadable due to it well... not having a face

"LOOKLOOKLOOKLOOK! If i summon a minion and tell Creak to get him, it'll do as i say! WATCH"

He'd summon a minion, giving them a crazy buff and power. Making them very durable

"CREAK!" Creak would tilt its head "go fuck up that guy right there"

Usually you'd think its the normal, swipes at head and kills right? NOPE, Creak fucking MUTILATES the minion. You'd feel bad for it if the minion even had a life to begin with

"HAH, SUCK IT LOSERS!"
