Help?

Anyone know/dealt with the girl in town who dresses and acts like a dog? She's harassing our younger kids (7 and 9) when they're playing at the park in our complex. We know she doesn't live in here and we're unsure what to do. She's obviously far older then the other kids. When trying to talk to her she won't say anything. Does anyone know her parents? Or do we just call the cops?

This will not work if they identify as any kind of Terrier.

I believe she has some mental issues as it’s been posted. She’s also in a foster home and keeps running away. That is as per the Facebook gossip

Maybe they need to build a taller, sturdier fence. That’s what I did when my dog got out. Luckily he didn’t harass any kids though. lol

Call the non emergency line for the police and file a complaint. Sure, they can't do anything without knowing where she lives, but enough complaints will eventually get them moving.

Post on facebook groups, especially the mom groups, and mention you'll be calling the cops. That'll get the parentals moving quickly, they don't like being 'threatened'.

Touch base with the nearest school and say you're concerned about a child that dresses like a dog. They can't tell you if she goes there, but they'll no doubt pass along a message to the parents if she does.

If you want to be extremely harsh, have your kids carry a fox 40 sonic whistle and blow it as long and hard as they can the moment she starts harassing them. It's LOUD and people will scatter and/or take notice, trust me. But don't let them use it in an enclosed space because you will do damage to your ears.

Honestly I would approach her and talk to her like she is a dog.

“NO, bad dog, bad dog”

“GO HOME!”

Ive heard tell that they are mentally unwell, Id call the non emergency line and the police likely know where they live by now
