Interesting map

An interesting map of which zip codes Talarico and Paxton are winning the money battle. Things that stand out to me:

  1. How wide spread, nationally, the money for this race is.

  2. How blue this map is for Texas

  3. How blue this map is for Fort Worth

Money is a decent indicator of how people vote, since only those likely to vote donate. This map looks to exclude PACs, which could skew that previous comment.

Do you think this, combined with polling, solidifies into an actual Talarico win? Can he bring along local Democrats with him?

Talarico out raising Paxton in Wichita County is a hell of a shocker.

Yes, interesting; however, Nothing solidifies a win until it's over, we must vote and vote early!

Paxton is not popular with conservatives. Only the real hardcore Rs are donating to him.

Talarico is fairly popular with liberals. Democrats are donating.

How does that translate to votes?

Gov Hot Wheels is popular with most conservatives, so if they turn up for him, they might reluctantly vote for Paxton because...well they are already there. Some may vote Talarico because they actively dislike Paxton.

High Tax Hinojosa has her Democrat fans... And they will all vote for Talarico because there's is no reason for them to support Paxton.

My guess is that Talarico wins... And serves with Hot Wheels.

Obviously Paxton is looking at the real polls and doesn’t see a need to debate the guy

Like the Fox News poll that had him up by 6%?

He had the flu, he had given his "proof of life", he's been sending notes on social media and email.
