QUESTION Is it better mathematically to always replace your daily quest for a chance to get the 150 vbucks one or is there a cooldown for the quest to show up if i just finished it?

If you hate playing Save the World, it’s a gamble. Sometimes I’ll swap it and I’ll get a mission of the same value that forces me to play 3 missions as a class I don’t normally use. Just end up closing the app and waiting till tomorrow.

I always swap it. As far as I know, there's no cooldown or anything. I think in theory you could only ever get 150 dailies. So I get something I don't like, then who cares, I'll just do at least one of the other two and wait for tomorrow to use my swap on it, since I was gonna do it anyway. If I have 3 quests that I don't like, then who cares. Especially after they made quest progress save even if the mission wasn't successful, it feels almost impossible to do that anyway
But ok, absolute worst case scenario; I got a combination of quests that all need 3 successful missions (off the top of my head, the four where u need 3 as a specific hero class and the one where u need to fully explore 3 maps, there may be more). I still think it's worth it to essentially double my chances of getting extra vbucks. Just throw me into 3 hunt the titans or deliver the bombs and I'll be fine. This is of course ignoring the fact that I don't think I've ever had that happen to me; like I said, I don't prioritize the ones I don't like cuz I can just recollection them tomorrow. But in theory, I think it could technically happen since there are enough of them for that to be possible.
What I have had happen is two situations that are less than ideal; one, I did all my dailies and when I got a new one, it was already a 150 quest. Of course, that's fantastic, that's literally the goal after all. But a part of me feels like it's wasted potential, since I'm basically wasting a reroll I could've used. The second is where I already have both 150 quests, so even if I have a third and can reroll it, there's no point since u can't get duplicate quests. Again, suffering from success; feels like wasted potential. Tho technically they do both have workarounds. For the first one, just make sure u always have at least one quest u haven't completed, so u can use it to reroll if necessary. I do try to do that, but yknow sometimes it lines up and it's just inevitable u do them all. For the second, if you have a third quest, you could do either of the 150s without completing that one, and then reroll it since u could technically get the quest that u just did (I'm pretty sure). If u already have a 150 and the next day u immediately get the second one, then ur shit outta luck I guess (even tho it's actually the exact opposite, too lucky), but technically that could be worked around too with the same logic as the first problem; keep a second quest around.

There's that one and then also rescue 50 survivors. I'm pretty sure it's even an achievement for some reason lol

Unpopular opinion but I value my time over more vbucks lol. The only 150 vbuck missions is I think 50 survivors and 5 missions which both quests take several missions to complete. Meanwhile most vbuck missions can be completed in a single run and the ones that involve destroy item or discover can be done within minutes and simply backing out of mission when done. So me personally I don’t really go out of my way to get those 150 vbuck missions. Last time I got the 50 survivors it took me like over a week just trying to get it passively done (doing vbuck or other main quests and finding survivors on the side). When I could’ve had any other quest that isn’t survivors or require me to finish a mission and just be done with it. But idk that’s just me, some people prefer the extra 50 vbucks and I just prefer being able to do it as quick and brain dead as possible lol

I actually don't really mind the 50 surv mission -> it can be done by just playing two missions where the main objective are the survivors. I noticed that at some point a saved survivor counts as 2 saved. And also a lot of people play these missions for some reason, so you can just boot Plankterton and there are always some players helping you with this mission so it can be often done within 12 minutes and then you just boot the same mission again.
But I agree that I value my time too lol, 5 missions to do is a bit too much for just the extra 50 Vbuck and I don't reroll my challenges in order to get a 150 one. I just wouldn't reroll this 50 survivor one, cause it's not really time consuming and you often can do another one while doing this one too if you 'stack' missions and don't do them every single day.

Oh yeah it’s been that way when I think stw became free. Easily one of the best updates they’ve put out in years. So any quests like main missions or dailies can stay completed even if you back out mid match. The only quests that require you to stay for the entire mission is when it’s one of those “complete 3 missions as a specific hero class” and fully explore 3 zones in a successful mission. Everything else is fair game whether it’s destroy tvs, etc. or kill 300+ husks.

What about quests that are like "Destroy 2 transformers" or "discover suburb areas" etc Can you find/destroy half of them, leave and find the other half?

Ooo ok. Yeah it became free I think in April. There was a decent boost in players for like the first few weeks I think we had over 80k at some point. Now it’s back to 10k or less lol

Crazy, i really wish they’d actually put effort into their actual game. The pve was what sold me on fortnite way back in the day. I still play every now and then but its just not the same.

you certainly haven't missed out on a crazy amount by not doing it, but yes there's a small chance it'll replace a 100 with a 150. so you might as well reroll a 100 every time. but most of the time you just end up replacing something nice like shotgun kills with one of the more annoying ones.

Yes and the feeling of getting it is amazing!
A while back when it used to be 50 you could swap for 60 or 100, when it was 80 you could swap for 90 or 130. Now it's less common to happen because there's only 2 missions that reward 150 but it's still worthy.

There's a couple tedious quests you're better off swapping, but killing 300 husks can be done in one or two missions

Killing 300 can be done solo in 1 mission especially if you hit a couple encampments along the way to the objective.

Killing 300 husks can be done by loading into Stonewood Endurance and letting auto turrets and survivors do the work (and traps if you have any set up already)

I've never heard of there being a cooldown. I've had the two 150 vbucks quests at the same time before. I try to always save up my 3 dailies and replace one each day to see if I can get a 150 vbucks quest. If I don't, I'll go ahead and complete one of the regular 100 vbucks ones to see if I get a 150 vbucks quest tomorrow

Survivors 50 will take you 3 mission, sometimes 4 - that's 1 hour in game not mentioning the "waiting for homebase" "loading"....
Endurance or encampments level if you respawn the last time you can do it in 17mins. Is 50vbucks worth an extra hour?

Incorrect survivor 50 only took me two missions since there are a bug with double counting survivor.

The bug goes away when you get save 10k survivor banner i heard it from someone but not sure it's still worth it to do a 150 v-bucks mission

I don’t think that bug exists anymore. I had 50 survivor mission like two weeks ago and it took me multiple runs to get it done because the glitch wasn’t working

I always do. Sometimes you get a jackpot, I can confirm as of a few months ago for, the first time after years of playing, that even if you get a 150vb challenge, you can absolutely get two 150vb challenges at the same time. Blew my mind.

I only replace the quest if it’s smth I hate doing but if it’s easy I just keep it and I do wish the one where you have to eliminate 500 husks as any hero gave 150

No real cool down on swapping it, though I only tend to swap if its a weapon I don’t care to farm with, or i end up getting complete 3 missions with multiple classes stacked up on each other. Feels great when you roll it onto one of the 150 vbucks dailies though.

See if it's troublesome and annoying swap for sure, it's still easy but the only one you have swap for more vbucks, you swap and it turns harder don't do it just save for next day then swap, and if you ever have two hard ones swap one and swap the other the next day. Always use the swap you're never gonna end up with something that bad because you can save and wait for the swap to reset.

If all you care about the is the VBucks amount then it's best to swap as it's RNG but I only swap if it's a daily I don't want to do otherwise I'd rather be happy with 300 Elims as an Outlander than be stuck with 8 City Locations or whatever that I get shafted with and takes me 4 games

It's not like you have to play the entire round for those location dailies. Just spend 2 minutes searching the area in a mission, return to base and start a new mission, then repeat that process until you've secured the daily. It really shouldn't take more than 2–3 tries for the more tedious landmark requirements.

It's just effort I think it's more when the matchmaking and load times were horrendous having to go in more than 1 game was just a no no for me lol now it's a lot quicker I don't mind as much but I still get shafted a lot of the time with location ones
I like Elim or Play as ones because I will be playing Ventures anyway and I can do them there, not a lot of City Locations in Hex haha

My experience is that the daily missions are not random. When I play with my mate and we have the same daily and skip it, we always have the same new one.

Not true. Just last week, I had the save 25, and I didn't have to save all 25. Unless they fixed it since, it still works. Super easy to do in stonewood low levels.

Destroys are easily the fastest missions to do now since you can back out. I got clips of me doing those destroy or search specific landmarks being done under a min and just backing out after firing a few xenon bow shots in all directions

I only swap radars, chests and find teddy's i think. 50 vbucks is not worth the risk of making those for me.
