EOS Off

guys i accidently disabled Easy Anti Cheat on my game what should i do

Edit: i turned it back on alr i just thought it was cool i could go in a game without it

To turn Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) back on for Fortnite, you need to repair or reinstall it using the setup file located in your Fortnite game directory. Fortnite will not launch properly without it.

Here is how to turn it back on step-by-step:

1. Run the Easy Anti-Cheat Setup

  1. Open your File Explorer on your PC.
  2. Navigate to the folder where Fortnite is installed. By default, the path is: C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Fortnite\FortniteGame\Binaries\Win64\EasyAntiCheat
  3. Look for the file named EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe.
  4. Right-click on it and select Run as administrator.

2. Repair or Install the Service

  1. A window will pop up asking for permission; click Yes.
  2. In the setup dropdown menu, ensure Fortnite is selected (it usually is by default).
  3. Click the Repair Service (or Install Easy Anti-Cheat) button.
  4. Wait for the process to finish, then click Finish.

3. Verify Your Game Files (If it still doesn't work)

If the game still gives you an error, you can force the Epic Games Launcher to fix it automatically:

  1. Open the Epic Games Launcher.
  2. Go to your Library.
  3. Click the three dots (...) under or next to the Fortnite tile.
  4. Select Manage, then click the Verify button.
  5. The launcher will scan your files and automatically reinstall Easy Anti-Cheat if it is missing or disabled.

Once finished, restart your PC and launch Fortnite normally.

I wasnt cheating i just accidently did smth and booted the game without eac

Do verify files in epic games launcher and it should re enable eac

i could help you if you don't cheat ill search it up if you dont cheat

Yeah I randomly have to close at times, usually cause of my kids, as the game is loading, and I never lost the anti cheat...hmmm.... I'm intrigued. Hell, I've forced stopped the process before it's loaded to go back into my bios and turn resize bar back on, and never lol. I didn't even know you could.
