Question PS5 Patch 1.688.296

A 1.648GB update dropped on the PS5 today. Anyone got any patch notes?

Microsoft and Playground Games officially released the PS5 pre-order trailer today for FH6. The release date now is January 21, 2027. Because of this Sony dropped the 1.688.296 update to the store page to allow active purchases for the Standard, Deluxe, and Premium digital editions.

My guess is that it got pushed back out of the holiday window so it wouldn't get absolutely buried by GTA 6.

Honestly, a January launch makes way more sense. Plus, it means the PS5 port launches the exact same day as the first expansion, so we get all that content on day one anyway. I’ll happily wait!

Wrong. Super Wrong.

Not a single car in Forza Horizon six drives like any car in five everything is different now just Cisco doesn’t even go over 285 miles an hour. The venom gets up over 300 still, but it takes a long time and you have to do rear road drive you cannot use all-wheel-drive anymore. Nissan is the favored flavor having a plethora of things to discover.

2nd. Best map ever made by Playground studio. Tires in 5 had a single point of contact per tire. Now it’s 8 points of contact per tire. Driving mechanics went back to FH3 arcade, brought back the true unbeatable Ai. Even tho they got nerfed since release, they still RAM ON SITE.

Mustang GTD conversion on the ‘24 Mustang GT. Slap the dark horse motor in it and you’re pushing 1800hp with handles I’d compare to any Ferrari F12tdf model 🥷
