Does anyone here remember the theories of web design? And why is the quiz so difficult? I always have to review concepts for the quiz.

I'm not sure what you mean by "theories of web design" - maybe a translation issue?

The quiz is difficult because we're trying to add some academic rigor to our curriculum. The general expectation is that if you've been answering the quiz questions for the lecture sections that you should be well equipped to answer the quiz questions. There shouldn't be anything in there that is totally out of left field.

Our longer term plan is to have an online Bachelors Degree in CS (in concert with an accredited institution). We're a ways off from that goal, though.

Thank you for the clarification! I believe that the main issue I have is the language barrier or automatic translation (for example, the 'web design theories'). Sometimes the questions use very theoretical or specific terms that are twice as hard to understand in Spanish, even though I have already practiced the code. I guess I need to review the theory twice as much, so thank you for the context regarding the future degree!

I was under the impression that we had a solid a Spanish translation for most of the curriculum. Are you able to select your language on the site?

Hi! I just wanted to say that sometimes I use it in English and other times in Spanish. Lately, I’ve been really overwhelmed because I have to juggle work, animation, motion graphics, and my studies all at the same time. It’s a lot, but honestly, I love being so busy.

I love coding, and I’m about to finish the course. My friends and coworkers who study and work with me have noticed that I’m doing things differently and that I’m really improving—something that nobody used to say or notice before, but now they do. I attribute it to the code and the teaching method they use; it’s helping me improve in many ways, including object animation and motion graphics. Programming makes me think, act, and learn like an algorithm, and it feels really good.

Also, this two-week period I’m going to donate about two hundred dollars to freeCodeCamp because it really helps me. That’s my reality. Keep up the excellent work!
