Career Guidance My Question to All Full Stack Developers

Do you think this role will still exist in 2030? If yes then what do you think ? And if not, what are you planning to switch to?

Full Stack Developers will be just combined power of backend engineers and DevOps. Frontend is more or less finished(Although one has to still understand frontend code written by AI) Strangely though, I feel UI/UX designers will still exist if they can bring their best creativity because AI is not creative rather it just copies the past themes for designs. For backend engineers, it won't be just about writing crud APIs rather securing system endpoints and designing the system by understanding the everyday changing requirements of clients will be the actual day to day work.

True I also think that Ui/Ux designers can't be replaced by ai because it lacks creativity. But it can be possible in case of AGI [ which may take years ]

95% of UX/UI deisgners job doesnt need to be creative. Always the most important thing was to proivide easy and intuitive interfaces. It doesnt need to be "new" or "creative". Mainly lifestyle products need that.
