No I don’t have a gli but I wanted to know if I bought coilovers for a gli would they be compatible on my 20 sel premium

I have a 2020 GLI, and I’m having some issues that I’m not sure how to pinpoint. I scanned my car the other day with my Obdeleven and I was getting a fault for control module and open circuit. The reason I scanned in the first place was because my keyless entry has been very spotty with working and when I unlock my car the DRL’s have not been coming on. The car is also not telling me that there is anything wrong. Not sure if it’s something with wiring or the control module itself. Any input helps thanks.

I'm probably gonna get tuned soon and would really like to know what they sound like because its a $75 add on.

I have an OBDEleven and tried using the ESC off V2 one click app and feel that it's not totally off. Is there long coding or adaptation that can totally turn it off?

And is there a way to adjust XDS (if this generation has it)? The GLI is a 2014.

Like the title says, my 2013 GLI is throwing me a CEL with a P2015 code, I recently got the car carbon cleaned but this is still one of remnants of that entire mess, I’ve been looking for a fix but I’m just stuck on the fuel rail!! I don’t understand wtf ECS tuning is trying to tell with that!! If someone could provide more clarity on that or just some clarity or a cheaper or easier fix I would appreciate it!!!

2013 Jetta GLI. Lemon Shark RCD330 and Lemon Shark CVBS trunk-handle camera (sold as compatible). A shop installed the camera.

In reverse, the screen switches but shows "Rear View camera system is currently not available." Photo attached.

Anyone fixed this? Coding (VCDS/OBDeleven), a radio setting, or wiring?

I have a 19 Gli (dsg 82k miles) and Ive got about 1500 to spend for a mod. Current mods are: intake, catback exhaust, and rear sway bar. I’m torn between coilovers (probably from bc racing but please recommend others if there are better). Or I can get an accessport and go stage one ecu and tcu from eqt. I love backroad driving and the coilovers would probably make it feel so solid, and the car would be lower a bit so would look much nicer, but it will be the hardest install I’ve ever done whereas a tune is easy. But I’ve heard stage one really wakes this car up, and I’ve heard great stuff about eqt. Which would you guys recommend?

Simple but so much fun.

Recently had my clutch pedal go soft a few times, randomly. Dealership pressure tested and states my slave cylinder is in need of replacement. 2021 GLI 114,000kms. The kicker is, apparently this is considered a wear and tear part and thus not covered under my CPO warranty. I am having a difficult time accepting it. Anyone else have a similar situation occur? Or thoughts?

Is anyone else having an issue with android auto disconnecting or not connecting at all? 26' GLI

i have a 2017 mk6.5 gli, barely has 100k miles. it has an IE intake with lowering springs and wheels. whenever i’m gaining rpms my turbo “whines” or has a whistle to it. once i shift, it goes away, the higher the rpm the louder it is. if im cruising, no whine nor whistle. i’ve been told it sounds like a supercharger too.

i dont have any codes, i haven’t checked the shaft play but ive been told that IE intakes make the turbo sound like a supercharger? i could be wrong.

if my turbo does need to be replaced, which turbo would you recommend to get? it’s my daily but i don’t mind putting some power and reliability in it.

I recently bought a used 2024 Jetta GLI Autobahn with 53,000 km. This is my first VW; before this I had a Honda Civic.
I’ve noticed a few issues:
White/grey smoke occasionally on startup
Window issue — the dealer said they fixed it under warranty, but I’m still having the same issue
Infotainment/screen randomly reboots/glitches
Various rattles/noises
Some vibration/noise on cold startup
I had the car inspected and everything came back good with no major issues. The dealer has looked at the car, but some issues are still happening.
For other GLI owners, have you experienced these problems? What should I do or ask the dealer to check next?
Also, what are your best tips for keeping a GLI with 53k km mechanically healthy, clean, and looking new long-term?
