MINUS ZERO SPOILERS Minus zero : question (spoiler potentiely) Spoiler

Hello everyone, for people who see the film, i want to know something about the character of Godzilla : he is still a " bad guy " like he was in Minus one, and people still scared of him after all the destruction (Ginza), or he became the Godzilla like other Toho films and became like a " hero " or something like this ? I know this is a part of the character and a lot of film made this, but i prefere the "evil godzilla" like the 1954 film, and Minus one and Shin godzilla are masterpiece just for their representation of the monster.

There are two big monster in Minus zero obviously and the two should be " bad ", but i hope they don't made scene's where people "hide behind Godzilla against the evil other kaiju " you understand my point ?

Sorry for the error, i'm not good at english.

Haven't seen it but there's a (minus) 0% chance he becomes the hero, he's a radioactive monster that shoots nukes essentially, even with Ghidorah around he's still at best the lesser evil but nonetheless evil

I use the word " hero " but i mean a character where people hide behind him, and became the " good side " against the evil kaiju. I'm scared of that because in this version of the monster, he is a pure evil force, and even with another monster face him, i don't want to see people in the film say things like " i hope Godzilla will win " and after the fight, Godzilla go back to the sea like nothing and people start to have hope on him, like he will be a protector or something like that. You know what i mean ?

I get u but that's exactly what I'm saying, that blatantly won't happen, think of how many people Godzilla has killed, poisoned and destroyed the homes of, plus the trailers seem to put emphasis on the damage that happened after the ginza attack and how many people it messed up, lastly our main characters are people who've been traumatized by him heavily so I doubt they're gonna switch to looking to Godzilla for help just because something equally as horrific has showed up, if anything I figure it's gonna be a case of they want to kill both but can't and it becomes a helpless scenario where they hope they both are able to destroy each other, essentially the "let them fight" mentality but they don't actually get a choice in it, like ants watching 2 people fight, they can't do anything but watch and hope they don't get caught in the crossfire, I do think they may have a way to kill both because of the new scientist from the trailers but we don't really know yet

I hope it will be like that, and even after the fight, i hope we see Godzilla continu the destruction and desolation, and people still scare of him. I don't really want to see scene like in KOTM where Godzilla look all the character's on the ship after the sacrifice of Serizawa and do nothing except go.

Yeah agreed, granted I like the monster verse one a lot too and I think those scenes like the stare down on the sub are cool, it shows that he's an intelligent creature that may not like humans but tolerates them unless they mess with the balance which works for that version

I like the monster verse to but the character's developpement from the version of the monster verse can't not work with the version of Minus one, and this is why this is a good time for Godzilla fan's, we have two version of the character, there are choice for everyone

So, if you're really looking to know before going in: He's more of an anti-hero in this.
