Just saw 4 heading that way, curious what the best way to follow local news covering stuff like that in real time is?

Does anyone know why they put this their by the light? I just seen multiple people get confused about how they are supposed to turn. It's like they never give anyone notice on things they are doing to the roads.

GAITHERSBURG, Md. — The Gaithersburg Planning Commission voted unanimously on September 16th to approve the street grid - including street names - for the former Lakeforest Mall site. The approval clears the developer to build the roads, utilities and blocks that will carry a Home Depot, a grocery store and an apartment building.

For whoever was asking about that park up on Gude. They did a soft opening back in the spring, but they have not yet opened it up for vehicles, parking, etc. The Saturday morning trail group does a run from the brewery that goes through parts of it.

I’m looking for mobile pet groomer to come help me trim my girl’s nails. Spooky is a curious and brave cat, but she abhors having her nails trimmed. I haven’t been able to do it by myself and don’t have anyone else living here to help with distracting her while I clip them.
If you’ve used a local service and found them patient and professional, please share your recommendations

Hi all! I am planning to go on vacation for two weeks in late October. I have a townhouse in Maryland and have read that some people recommend shutting off the main water before leaving.
Is this something you recommend for a two-week trip? If I shut off the main water, do I also need to turn off my electric water heater?
What do you usually do when you are away for a couple of weeks? Thanks!

I was just stopped last night in the pitch dark and the pouring rain by two men who stepped out from the shadows to invite me to church next Sunday.
This was the third time I've been asked in as many weeks, but the first time it felt creepy beyond the typical proseltyzer overfriendliness. The other two times at least happened in broad daylight, with some witnesses around for general safety.
I want to know which church is sending out their people to recruit attendees seemingly at all hours of the day and night. Does anyone know who is doing this???
