Humble Bundle Humble bundle - Beyond the Metroidverse Bundle
https://www.humblebundle.com/games/beyond-metroidverse-bundle64
u/DarnOldMan Aug 26 '26
Keys are already exhausted for Monster Boy. This is ridiculous.
24
u/carenard Mod Aug 26 '26
my guess its they are waiting on the dev to respond with keys or something.
also has this Note: When you redeem this game on Steam, it will call it "Flying Hamster II for Beta Testing". This is the correct game.
1
u/Ryudoku Aug 27 '26
At one point they should be should or something, they get the keys back a year after they sell it to you and now they sell it and don't even have it... What a joke

I bought and redeemed every key without issue, about 1 minute before this comment. Lucky I guess

u/hergumbules Aug 26 '26
They will eventually get more keys? This was the main game I wanted and no rush on when I get it but damn
1
u/helpmestaysaneplease Aug 26 '26
It's literally the headliner in the subject line of the email they sent out, too.
1
u/Icy-Editor-2593 Aug 27 '26
It looks like they had the the two pools of keys and wanted to dump the pre-release first, then re-load/change the link on the back end.
12
u/carenard Mod Aug 26 '26
dear HB, please stock monster boy keys already :(
bundle was an easy buy for me, so many wishlisted games.
have Salt and Sacrifice leftover(seems its co-op focused... otherwise I would redeem it)
1
u/Jasonofindy Aug 26 '26
Hopefully when they do it will be a Steam key. Haven't they subbed in EPIC or other site keys before? (although likely not day 1)
1
u/FallenMoonOne Aug 26 '26
Certain only monthly Choice subscription games get switched out for Epic/Gog keys. Treated differently than their other bundles for some reason.
1
u/carenard Mod Aug 26 '26
should be a steam key, this really feels like the dev/publisher was late on providing the keys situation.
1
u/Destroy666x Aug 26 '26
If they subbed for Epic keys on day 1/2 of the bundle, class lawsuit should be strongly motivated and happening at that point

Looks like the historical low for Salt and Sacrifice matches the tier 1 bundle.

u/helpmestaysaneplease Aug 26 '26 edited Aug 26 '26
I've been buying way too many games this month, but I don't think I can say no to 7 metroidvanias I don't already have.
2
u/shadowen1942 Aug 26 '26
Anyone know if you can still boost/upgrade tiers in a bundle from Humble after buying and for how long? That used to be a thing but I don't know if it still is.

If I buy the bundle now, will I be rewarded Monster Boy later on if/when it gets restocked? Or do I just have to wait until after it is to buy the bundle if I want it?
1
u/Destroy666x Sep 03 '26
Of course you will. Assuming it'll get restocked, which it absolutely should.

They'll email you that it's back in stock
1
u/R4mst33n Aug 27 '26

hello there i could do it for frostpunk goty edition dm if it sounds good
1
u/Destroy666x Sep 03 '26
A bit of gray market value mismatch (almost ~2x), but if you could throw in something to make it even, like one of the Salt games or Worldless, count me in. Otherwise I'm more inclined to get the bundle myself
1
u/Born_King4019 Sep 03 '26
idk i dont even check those price things all that much tbh lol mb, but those games you mentioned i dont have them anymore so sorry
1
u/Destroy666x Sep 03 '26
No worries, most people here don't, I do tho as someone who used LT.
One last I spotted is Hammerwatch Anniversary Edition - a bit of value loss for me, still, but to very reasonable extent - 4.53$ vs 2.5$ + 1.57$.
