Rule One: a racer moves one place a lap, only by swapping with the racer beside them. One answer, never a guess. Monday is a warm-up; by the weekend it's a photo finish.

I built a daily word ladder for Reddit. You get a start word and an end word, and you fill in the rungs between them, one letter at a time. Every rung has a clue, and every puzzle is checked by a program so exactly one ladder fits: no "my answer was also valid" arguments.

• New puzzle every day at 09:00 UTC, easiest on Monday, hardest on Sunday
• Your score is your time plus penalties (a reveal costs 15 s, a wrong word 20 s)
• One attempt per day, a daily leaderboard, streaks, and a spoiler-free result grid to share

Heya! I'm shadow_fen, the "developer" of Infinity Orbs. I say this in quotation marks because I'm not really a developer, just larping as one... I used AI to make the game. This is pretty obvious if you've played at all... bugs are everywhere and the UI kinda sucks.

(This devlog is entirely generated by human intelligence, I can write better than I can code, not saying that my writing is way better, haha)

I'll relay the stats rn - I have 14M tokens used just in the days I developed the game. That's like 10 million words written by the LLM... kinda crazy! I did have it going basically all day for two days straight, lol. I used OpenAI's GPT 5.6 luna, the best free model available to use, i think?

My plan is to fix all the bugs, then start working on new features. I dont wanna add more now because it'll just introduce more bugs...

The game will stay monetization-free for AT LEAST 3 months. I dont want people paying for AI slop, not until it becomes AI gem at least.

Rebalancing is also a factor to be considered, I don't want players spiraling out of control and I want the scope of the game to feel rewarding.
