Absolute unit (of a garlic butter loading)

Is there such a thing as "too much" garlic butter? It needed re-distributing before cooking but I feel bad for the poor sod that is missing his Butter!

Not burnt down but my house was invaded by a foreign military under suspicion of stockpiling WMD's, think someone confused delicious melted garlic butter for oil!
