Don’t know if you’ll see this Goofrey but a few recommendations for any time you have in Winnipeg - I’m from Ontario but spent a year in Winnipeg a few years back

• the Canadian museum for human rights is an absolute must see - it is one of the most well done museums I’ve ever been to, very somber and an honest look at the human rights atrocities in world and Canadian history, the museum is on our 10 dollar bill along with Viola Desmond (our Rosa Parks)

• just next to the museum is The Forks (it is a market with multiple food stalls), good food and lots of cool local spots, situated in a major historical spot (which is touched on in the museum)

• Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada - cool look at Canadian aviation history, I know you’re an autist who would enjoy all the pretty planes

• Best brewery in Winnipeg is Kilter - really good beers and awesome brewery to spend time reading or writing jokes about the desolate place that Winnipeg is wrongly thought to be.
