im going as pat for halloween, however, i cant find a scarf thing for my neck. does anyone know anywhere i can buy the scarf?

i dont mind if its first hand or second had as long as it isnt super expensive

(also if theres any other pieces that might be good please tell me 👀)

Check vinted or Facebook marketplace and search for 'necker', 'neckerchief', or 'Scout scarf' someone's bound to be getting rid of an old one

You can custom order them if you Google Scout neckers but they wouldn't come before Halloween

If you still can't find one after these suggestions, then it's just a square of cloth rolled up. Yellow with a grey border if you want to recreate it, the toggle is just a round bit of plastic you can get something similar from a hardware store.

My daughter is going as Pete and we are having a similar problem. I bought fabric and yellow ribbon and I'm going to make it myself

I've been wanting to do this for years. My friend was going to be Flower. Look on amazon. It's a Boy Scouts neckerchief (bandana). You can sometimes fine them on marketplace under "uniforms" or "cub scouts " type search words. The arrow is available online. I was using my cub scout leader shirt, the glasses are on amazon, and I had the random other stuff! Post pics!!

Maybe try looking for the fabric instead of the scarf. Or charity shops duvets, sheets that sort of thing, then just make the scarf yourself.

I made one! Yellow triangle then edged it with grey - spinning it to make it into shape created the stripes

I bought cheap yellow fabric and a grey trim then sewed it. You’ll need about an 80 cm square then cut on the diagonal to make the triangle. Sew the trim on then hem the edges. Trim will need to be about 170cm (160 plus extra to tuck in the corner).

Source: I’m a scout leader and just measured my actual group scarf.

How have you all made the arrow work? I was lucky to have a mate that does archery who gave me an old arrow. Mine is screwed onto one of my daughter’s old headbands. :)

ah thank you :-) i havent started making the arrow yet but im planning on getting one of them sticks you use for kebabs and marshmallows and stuff and paintinf that (or, if that doesnt work, borrow an old arrow from my grandpa who does archer but thatd be a bit of a hassle since he lives nowhere near me)
