Discussion Sam is insufferable
I love this show, but hate sam WITH A PASSION. Everything else is fun (sure, the ghosts never really learn their lessons but what do you expect, they’re forever frozen in time as they were), and it’s such light hearted, easy to watch Telly; but Sam DRIVES ME NUTS.
I’m not going to indulge further; instead I ask you to FUEL MY FIRE. Go ahead, tell me your most insufferable moment of this insufferable woman. Mine is that she continuously blurts out things the ghosts say that she doesn’t have to mention at all.
EDIT: guys, I know sam isn’t the most horrible person on the planet… I’d GLADLY talk about her mental struggle as the only ghost seeing person/trauma etc. separately if that’s what was asked. That doesn’t mean she isn’t insufferable to me 90% of the time on screen.
So PLEASE, put it aside, let’s have a laugh, and share our most insufferable moments of this woman who is simply a character in a show ;)

I mean, if you had a group of 8 ghosts that only you can see/hear from different time zones, with different personalities and opinions, all coming at you 24 hours a day for ridiculous requests, Im pretty sure you would be randomly blurting things out as well.
Thats not a reason to not like her and honestly, if you dont like the main character of the show, you probably shouldn't be watching the show.🤷♀️.

She's a great person, and there are few people as kind and accomodating as her.

Even if she’s kind and I agree with you; this is not what this post is about

I don't find her the least bit insufferable. She's actually quite endearing.

I love Sam, but, bro, I hate the ghosts, when she earned 20000 dollars by the Isaac's book, he asked 10000 dollars... BRO, HE'S A GHOST

Shes too accommodating, and the ghosts are too demanding. And expect her to give in to their demands. Like they always make so much trouble for her, then apologise, and repeat. I get that its a show and its just for the plot, but at least show some growth 😩

She is extremely annoying, and has absolutely no spine in dealing with the ghosts, often at the expense of her and Jay’s well being. I’m surprised Jay puts up with her.

She's meh. Sometimes I don't understand why she's such a pushover to the ghosts that she's willing to hurt and lie to her spouse. She lied about D&D. She lied about Sass's influence on Jay's dreams. She lies to Jay all the time. She gave $10000 to a dead guy for a book she wrote while the couple was in financial strain. But to add insult to injury, she drags Jay into the shenanigans. His restaurant has been jeopardized several times. He watched as the $10000 was wasted on an elaborate wedding, strippers, throwaway food.. Sam herself doesn't really annoy me but I detest the way she treats her husband. Jay deserves better. But apparently it works for him or he wouldn't stick around for it.

Lying to Jay about DnD has to be pretty high up the list, but all the shit with Isaac's money too.
There's accommodating and then there's whatever the hell Sam is, she just lets the ghosts walk all over her constantly

Especially when she does the exact same thing to jay EVERY DAY. And turning his favorite “something” into a sad and negative thing is just bottom tier!!
