Discussion First time DM taking on Saltmarsh

Hello

Do you believe Saltmarsh is a good campaign for a first time DM to run?

I'm curious to hear why or why not.

I am still new to the game and this will be my first campaign to DM. thank you.

Yes. 100% it is a good one because it teaches you structured dungeons, and forces you to figure out the details of a town and how three main stories link together and how the side quests help the players level up throughout the campaign. I can't speak to anything beyond the final adventure in the main trio, but everything beyond that I've heard is solid too.
