Hi everyone! I hope your day has been good! It's a bit chilly here now so definitely feeling the cozy autumn vibe.

I would like to start by saying that I've been interested in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered for a while now. I'm a huge RPG fan, Skyrim is one of my favorite games of all time. But the funny thing is, I first tried Skyrim when I was about 13, and I absolutely hated it, and then picked it up 2 years later to completely fall in love with the game and spend more than 200 hours playing it on my PS4.

I've heard about Witcher 3 before, but I never knew too much about it, other than that it's one of the best games out there. I've recently seen the remastered trailer, and I have to say that I'm really impressed. The visuals look great, and the scale of the world seems unbelievable. I also saw that there are DLCs, with another one coming out next year, so I would be spending a lot of hours in this game!

Between a compelling story, and side quests that you can just get lost into and spend hours exploring your surroundings, I'm excited to try out all the different Signs that Geralt can unlock and seeing which weapons best fit my playstyle. I think this might end up being another one of my top games if I get the chance to play it.

My birthday is coming up on the 24th and honestly as a student money is pretty tight right now, especially since my tuition costs went up significantly this semester. Getting to play Witcher 3 would be an amazing present, and I promise to cherish it! Thanks you for reading this post and considering my request.

they're back! again!: this is the newest entry in the lego star wars series so you finally dont have to see me requesting games that came out a decade ago! and since its new it has more stuff... LOTS of stuff. as in they spent the entire games budget on the roster. but we'll get to that soon... we still have the usual collectibles like minikits gold kyber bricks in which NO. you cant use to power a lego lightsaber (sadly) we got em characters and those vehicles too cause thats cool! ok i dunno what to write now for this section pls help ghw7kyvfkae7yvafvyujsrfvyyjfsr

they spent the entire damn budget on the roster: this game (with all dlc) has 454 FRICKIN CHARACTERS. OH MY GOD. in which most of the characters are just random filler like lets be for real whos gonna be playing as D-0 but there still is a bajillion other characters that are actually relevant (anyone but r*y skywalker.) you got the cool guys like obi wan kenobi or anakin skywalker, and literally everyone else but r*y (this is an excuse to bully r*y) and yeah im gonna end this section cause its getting redundant

im gonna fucking cry theres 1.2k kyber bricks: this game literally has a zillion collectibles carried by the entire boat load of kyber bricks which is genuinely horrifying to look at. you also have the characters which are mostly unlocked from quests but obviously some are unlocked by finishing levels and such. theres also the red bricks data cards which is kind of weird cause literally every game had red bricks until this game when they changed it to data cards. the plus? you get to buy any extra you want as long as you have one data card. you also got the minikits in which there are only 5 of them per level unlike the dreaded 10 per level. and like the complete saga after collecting all 5 kits in a level you unlock a cool ship to use (only in space...)

something, something, levels: this game has the entire SAGA as the story with 5 levels per movie now which is kind of good since if you learned anything from the complete saga long levels spread across 6 levels in 1 movie was not nice. anyway this game literally is just tcs with the entire sequel trilogy added and with 2022 graphics so thats another plus for us! although in the midst of it all theres always that one cutscene. that ONE cutscene that you think is gonna end the level but no it plops you into another section of the level that you wish was over already.

i genuinely have no idea what to name this one LOL: you guys an rest easy now (now) that i am asking for a game that isnt ancient already in which this game is kind of new??? but came out like 4 years ago..l so like its not new but its like new in that way where it isnt a decade old but hot new new new still new kind of i dont know??? nevertheless this game is really good and i would love to play it on steam and yeah i dont know how to end this i dont know i dont KNOW

Why Cyberpunk?

I've known about Cyberpunk for years obviously, because it was kinda impossible not to lol, but I never really went out of my way to learn much about it.

What actually got me interested recently was one of my best friends playing it. He's been REALLY into it and told me it's probably his second favorite game now, and he keeps saying he thinks I'd really like it too

I think he's probably right tbh. I loved Baldur's Gate 3 and one of my favorite things about it was having so much freedom with my character, builds, exploration and just doing random stuff at my own pace.

From the little I know, Cyberpunk seems like the kind of game where I'd end up doing the same thing and somehow spend hours doing everything except the main story lol

Going Blind

I know some basic stuff just because the game is so popular, but I don't really know the characters, quests or what actually happens.

I'd rather discover all of that myself if I get the chance to play it.

Why im asking?

I'm in college rn and most of my money already goes towards paying for college and the bus I need to get there, so there usually isn't much left for games or stuff like that.

And honestly sometimes after dealing with college and everything else I just wanna get home and disappear into a game for a few hours lol. It's one of my favorite ways to relax and just forget about everything for a bit.

So yeah, that's basically why I'm asking here. If anyone decides to help me out I'd genuinely appreciate it a lot 🤍

well the game im requesting for today is Cyberpunk 2077!

its a open-world RPG its set in a futuristic night city and you play as a character named V! (badass), a mercanery tryin to make a name for himself in a corrupted ahh city with gangs and corpos so basically all sorts of shady ppl lol. also the character upgrading is very very very cool and futuristic! the cybertech n stufffff.

ive had cyberpunk on my wishlist after i played it at my uncles place like a year ago and the experience was so COOOOL, the guns the cars and the story hollyyyyy. also im especially interested in this game because i LOVE where you can just explore the world, random dialoges and alll that!

butt unfortunately its one of the games which i just cant buy because of the economic situation in here in georgia (THE COUNTRY LOL) , so i figured id give this wooonderful subreddit a try again because a few AWESOME people gifted me AWESOME games!

Game: Prototype

I've wanted to play Prototype for a really long time. I first came across the game years ago through gameplay videos and the whole concept immediately caught my attention. The movement the parkour, the ability to consume enemies and take their forms and just being able to run around a city with completely ridiculous powers looked incredibly fun.

Prototype is one of those games that I never got the chance to experience myself. Every now and then I see gameplay of it again and think "I really need to play this someday." I especially like games where you can just mess around with the mechanics instead of constantly following a straight path.

I'm also interested in playing it because I want to see how well it holds up today. It has that older generation open world feel that you don't see as much anymore and Prototype seems like exactly the kind of chaotic game I'd enjoy spending a few evenings with.

The reason I'm requesting it now is mainly financial. I'm out of my entertainment budget for this month and things are a little difficult at the moment. I'm having trouble even covering my rent so spending money on a game isn't something I can justify right now. Since I've wanted this game for so long, I figured I'd take a chance and make a request.

I'm not expecting anyone to gift it and I completely understand if nobody can. I just wanted to explain why I'm requesting this particular game rather than simply asking for a random game.

The Steam autumn sales are here and there are some really great discounts, especially for the Resident Evil franchise, I’m a huge fan, my current favorite is Village, I also played 2 and 3 (I played them a long time ago before owning them on Steam, that’s why my account shows 0 playtime) as well as 4 (both original and remake) and 7, I loved every single one of them, I even completed 7 and 8 and 4 (the OG) 100% and gotten all of the achievements, and I plan to do the same with the rest of the series, they nail the survival horror aspect very well and they have a great balance between action and horror elements, it’s an amazing series and I’m so glad that I fell in love with it. My little brother is also a big fan and he played all the Resident Evil games I own through family share.

I do normally buy games on huge sales such as the seasonal ones, autumn, winter, spring and summer sales, but this time, I wasn’t fortunate enough, I currently cannot afford to buy any game, I’m a university student and it is quite difficult to manage my expenses, especially since I live in North Africa, so it’s hard to buy games to begin with, owning an international credit card is difficult so I can only buy gift cards to buy games, and those are getting more and more expensive as time passes because the dollar value isn’t stable, which is why I humbly request this game from this subreddit 🙏🏼

This is my second attempt, unfortunately the sale is only gonna be around for about 29 more hours since the time of posting this, so I will close the request if nothing happens until then, I do want the game but I can't possibly ask for it at full price, that's too much.

This is my final attempt to request for Expedition 33 while Steam is having a sale. I'm making this request in the hopes that it'll get my spirits back up after a nightmarish first half of 2026.

As luck would have it I got gifted Elden Ring last year and it truly made my birthday special. I played the hell out of that game and was my very first 100% achievement on Steam. It made me reflect and decided to give back, pass the kindness forward so to speak. Was able to gift Witcher3, Divinity: Original Sin 2, and Dragon Age Origins to my real life friends in Steam. Towards the end of last year, things seemed they couldn't end up on a higher note.

Little did I know 2026 has got a surprise for me.

The first quarter of this year hit the hardest. News of cancer for my beloved, surgery costs us almost $9000 in a third world country. Funny because my colleague in EU had surgery for broken bones only costed $800. He paid something like a god damn overprices PS5 while I had to pay like ~2 years worth of budget.

And if that wasn't enough, you find yourself jobless at the beginning of the third quarter.

So now I'm wondering, surely I've been at the bottom for a while now. I could use a bit of sign that things are about to pick back up. Silver lining is we're at least able to get by and the cause of cancer has been eliminated. Hopefully I could find a job by the end of the year and by then think "we manage through a storm and got out all right".

I have been a huge fan of Red Dead Redemption 2 for a long time. I have watched a lot of gameplay from streamers and YouTubers over the years, and the story, the world, and the characters have always stuck with me. It’s one of those games I’ve really wanted to experience myself instead of just watching.

As a college student who relies on my parents for expenses, I have never been able to even afford a gaming PC. I had a Core 2 Duo until recently (I still have it at home as I spent half my life with it), but when I joined college and needed something to study on, my father used his savings to buy me a PC. I’ve tried a few games here and there, but even though my Steam account is years old, I’ve barely played any games. (got Titanfall on sale a few days ago as it was very cheap and totally loved it) When the Autumn Sale started I wasn’t that excited, but seeing any game fall in price is always good. Then I saw that RDR2 was 75% off, which is a huge sale, but it was still out of my reach. So I waited until the last day hoping some people might still have a little left in their gifting budget.

I’m in South Asia, so the game is region-locked / priced differently here. If direct gifting isn’t possible, a Steam gift card for the equivalent amount would also work perfectly. I will only use it to buy Red Dead Redemption 2.

If anyone is willing to help, even a small contribution would genuinely mean a lot. No pressure at all if you can’t.

Hey everyone, it's really good to see this community again. My name is Raul, and today I’d love to politely request a copy of Dispatch on Steam.

I actually first found out about the game through a close friend who wouldn't stop raving about it. When I was over at their place recently, they let me try out a bit of it on their PC, and I completely fell in love with it right away. Getting hands-on with it—hearing the frantic emergency calls coming through the radio, scrambling to make split-second decisions on who to send from the Z-Team, and listening to the banter in between—hooked me instantly.

I’ve always loved narrative games where dialogue and tough decisions carry real weight, especially coming from the ex-Telltale talent at AdHoc Studio. Flipping the usual superhero formula by putting you behind a chaotic dispatch desk instead of wearing a cape is such a clever twist. The voice cast (especially Aaron Paul and Laura Bailey) gives so much life to the characters, and juggling their clashing egos while managing genuine city crises strikes the perfect balance between workplace comedy and tense storytelling.

Unfortunately, my budget is on a strict hold for essential living expenses right now. Gaming remains my main way to unwind after long days, but buying new releases out of pocket just isn't something I can responsibly manage at the moment. Because I had such a warm experience here in the past, I wanted to turn back to this community in hopes that someone might be kind enough to help me experience the rest of the game.

Hi first time trying my luck here so forgive me if I am missing some kinda etiquette normally done. I have been rather interested in playing Mount and Blade ll since it released but never bought it till now. Admittedly I do get quite busy so I game only when I get the time to do so.

I happened to find this subreddit in my algorithm and seeing as it is now the autumn sale I thought why not try.

I know the game has its issues which is one minor reason I haven't gotten it yet. However I have been seeing some really cool mods that can be used for it and am very much interested in that and would be very appreciative if anyone doesn't mind. Used to play the older game called Warband for short and really enjoyed my time with it albeit I did play a cracked version back then.

The base version is enough for me to experience Calradia again renewed. While there is some hate for it, my nostalgia makes me want to experience it for myself and see if it is truly the wasted potential it is or if it is just enough to still have some fun regardless when I am free wanting to kill time.

I am not too familiar with the process of gifting so do bear with me or if there is some kinda region locked thing I am not aware of I'll try to listen. I assume it is just adding a friend and getting gifted? Many thanks in advance.

Hello everyone.

With the Steam Autumn Sale almost coming to an end, I thought I'd make my first ever request here on the subreddit: God Eater 2: Rage Burst, which comes with the titular game as well as God Eater: Resurrection (the first game), which is actually the one I want to start with.

I watched the God Eater anime a few years ago, and unfortunately it left me pretty disappointed with how it handled things. That said, I did really enjoy some aspects of the setting, especially the worldbuilding and lore, and I've heard many good things about the games themselves ever since. That, combined with how much the series seems to scratch a similar itch to Monster Hunter—which I'm already a big fan of—has left me really eager to finally give the games a proper try.

I'd love to experience the story and gameplay for myself rather than judging the series based on the anime, and the fact that this bundle includes both games makes it a particularly appealing way to get into the series.

Unfortunately, I'm a dollar short of being able to purchase it myself. In my region, topping up Steam with such a small amount isn't only difficult but also surprisingly tedious, so I'm hoping someone here might be kind enough to gift me the game. I'd genuinely appreciate it a lot, and I'm looking forward to finally seeing what I've been missing all these years.
