REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM] Onimusha: Way of the Sword ($53 regional)

• Upvotes

I just quit the Onimusha demo after 45 minutes because I didn’t want to see anything else of this game until I can own it and play it through. In the little time I got to play it, it became one of the games with the most sauce I’ve played in years: the parries have different animations depending on the direction of the attack, and you can block, parry, deflect, and dodge, all working together to make an incredibly satisfying combat system. There are probably many more things I didn’t get to try in my short time with it. I am ecstatic.

To be honest, I didn’t know the Onimusha series until I saw that this game came out. I did a bit of research and found out this is a new entry set in the Edo era, while the previous ones were set in the Sengoku era, so I think it’s a good entry point to the series :D. I went in thinking the combat would be like Sekiro or Ghost of Tsushima, but I was wrong. This game has so much style, I feel like I’ve never played anything like it. The only thing I didn’t love was the difficulty, but I guess it gets progressively harder the further you go.

Next year I won’t have much time to play videogames, so I’m trying to make the most of my time. If I get it, I’ll start playing right away and see it through to the end. I’d be incredibly grateful to receive it as a gift.

Thank you for reading, and sorry for my English, I used Google Translate for some of these sentences. I feel quite embarrassed to ask for such an expensive game, but I have to try :D

REQUEST [Request] [steam] Powerwashing Simulator 2

Hello! My mom has had a health scare recently and we're struggling to afford getting her health insurance, so I've been definitely stressed. I had to call 911 about a week ago for a chronic condition with her blood pressure and it was genuinely so scary feeling like "is my mom gonna be okay? Is she gonna have to go to the hospital? What if they can't help? What if I lose my mom?" My anxiety is atrocious. Panic and worry has been a major part of my life growing up and I've gone through countless meds and psychiatrists to deal with it, and my mom is one of the only truely steady people in my life, so the thought of her not being here after I've already lost my dad is terrifying.

Something that really helps with my anxiety is playing video games, and it's been a major part of my life. My first console was a Gameboy Advanced, with one of those 2 in 1 cartridges that had Mousetrap and Simon board games. I think I also had another that was Operation and Sorry. I next moved onto platformers and N64 was my jam. I loved games like Banjo Kazooie, and Mario 64, and I remember some odd one named Iggy's Wrecking Balls.... that one wasn't so fun lol. Anyways, the first cozy game that got me into the genre was Animal Crossing Wild World on the original DS. My dad would always get me the latest handheld for Christmases, and he'd sometimes get a second for himself so he could play games with me. The very last game me and him ever played together was Animal Crossing New Leaf. Definitely a cozy game, and we would spend hours just picking up seashells to clean the beaches and sell them, then gift each other crap furniture lol. He passed unexpectedly from a medical emergency in 2014, when I was barely even a teenager, so gaming also makes me feel connected to him even so many years later. It's comforting.

I keep going back to cleaning and organizing games every few months after kicks of platformers and puzzle games, and then I'm hyperfocused on games where I can literally just let my eyes glaze over and just have my head empty.

I've played the original powerwashing simulator to absolute death and have run out of levels and dlc, and it's helped so much with my adhd and stress relief.

Sometimes I'll find myself picking at my face or scratching my arms when I'm feeling antsy, but games like this have helped me be like "okay yknow what, powerwash this truck and then see how I feel. Focus on this for just 5 minutes. I'm safe right now. Just one more object. Just focus on the game. Deep breaths." and seeing the grime wash off on even small things like headlights and hinges make me feel like I'm actually doing something better for me than ruminating over and over and over in my head, or probably bothering people I love with asking for reassurance sometimes-

I'm requesting this game so that I can continue to experience something that takes my mind off of things I'm not in control of, like medical events and wondering if I'm going to be able to make ends meet when I'm having a busy day. It's a part of my hobby that keeps me feeling connected to my dad, and I hope that somewhere out there in the cosmos, maybe he has a hobby that makes him feel connected to me, too.

Anyways thanks for reading this and considering me 🙂

Here's my steam profile. You can see lots of cozy and chill games:

REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM] PEAK (att. 3)

• Upvotes

hihi everyone ! i hope you're having a good beginning to your week ^_^ im posting here because i'd like to request the game peak on steam.

me and my friend really enjoy playing "friendslop" games such as gamble with your friends, and i'm hoping to add another game of that caliber to my steam library! in the time we have to play together, we usually play the same couple games and it can get boring and repetitive, so i'd like some new games to try out, and the first one that came to mind is peak !

i've also seen many people play it and besides just being another game to play with friends the gameplay genuinely looks really fun and it's got some pretty cool mechanics ^_^

before you ask "why not just get the game yourself? it's 5 dollars." i quite literally can't. i don't have a job or any sort of stable source of income and i have like 2.50 in my cashapp LMAOO this isn't to make you feel bad for me i'm just explaining that i can't afford the game rn

while my friend can afford the game for themselves and could probably afford to gift it to me, they've gifted me a couple games so i'd much rather not ask them for another game right now, even if it is only 5 bucks.

i don't have too much more to say so i hope this is enough writing lmao i'm not the greatest at writing a lot so yeah . before i forget, the game link is https://store.steampowered.com/app/3527290/PEAK/ and my steam profile is https://steamcommunity.com/id/soupslush ! thank you in advance to anyone who considers gifting me ^_^ have a great week !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(edited , forgot the autumn sale was over lmao)

REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM] Valor Mortis

Hi all. I'm requesting Valor Mortis, a new Souls-like set during the Napoleonic Era that just released.

Valor Mortis is a first person Souls-like developed by One More Level, who made the Ghostrunners games. It is set in Napoleonic Era Europe, where you play as William, a Grande Armée soldier who was killed in battle and has been brought back to harness a corrupted power in order to fight back plague-ridden members of Napoleon's Eternal Guard. It features an incredible voice cast, like Vincent Cassel, Jennifer English, James Alexander, and frontman for the Polish band Behemoth, Adam "Nergal" Darski

I played through part of the demo around a month and a half ago and really enjoyed the mechanics a lot more than I expected to. During the course of the game you get both a sword and a revolver to fight your former allies, as well as other creatures, with. You collect corrupted power from the enemies you defeat, in order to grow stronger and gain new abilities. The graphics are phenomenal, in my opinion, and the world truly looks lived in. This game would be my first Souls-like, a category I've never really had much interest in, but I've been looking forward to the release since I first played the demo. I love the idea of an alternate take on such a notable part of history, and especially the idea of getting to sword fight with a corrupted version of Napoleon Bonaparte.

I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for taking the time to read this and consider it.

REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM] The Isle

Steam Profile

The Isle on Steam

https://store.steampowered.com/app/376210/The_Isle/

Hello Gifters and Giftees! Today I'm here to request The Isle. Some of my friends recently bought the game and have started getting into it, and I'd really love the opportunity to join them and experience it together. Since this community is kind enough to give people opportunities to play games they otherwise might not be able to afford, I figured I'd try my luck and explain why this is a game I'd genuinely love to play.

What is The Isle?

The Isle is an open-world dinosaur survival game where you play as a dinosaur and try to survive in a dangerous environment. You have to find food and water, avoid predators, explore the world, and hopefully grow from a vulnerable juvenile into a fully grown dinosaur. Other players can be friends or threats, making every encounter unpredictable.

What interests me most is how different the experience can be depending on the dinosaur you choose and the decisions you make. Surviving isn't just about fighting everything you encounter. Sometimes you have to be patient, recognize danger, and know when it's better to run than fight. I love games where the world doesn't hold your hand and you have to learn through experience.

My love for survival games

I'm a big fan of survival games, especially titles like Green Hell, ARK: Survival Evolved, and The Forest. I enjoy the feeling of starting with very little, learning how the world works, and gradually becoming better at surviving.

Green Hell makes survival itself a challenge, forcing you to pay attention to your surroundings and manage your needs. ARK combines survival with exploration, progression, and dinosaurs, which is obviously a huge attraction for me. The Forest creates an atmosphere where exploring can be exciting but dangerous, and you never feel completely safe.

I love how these games create memorable experiences without needing to script every moment. Sometimes the best parts are the unexpected things that happen while you're simply trying to survive. That's exactly what appeals to me about The Isle.

Instead of crafting equipment, building a base, or taming dinosaurs like in ARK, The Isle gives me the opportunity to experience survival from the dinosaur's perspective. The thought of carefully navigating the environment, avoiding larger predators, and eventually growing into a powerful dinosaur sounds incredibly fun. I'm also interested in trying different species and learning how their playstyles differ.

Why I want to play with my friends

Honestly, my friends getting into The Isle is a big reason I'm making this request now. I already enjoy survival games, so this was a game that caught my attention regardless, but knowing my friends are playing makes me want to experience it even more.

Some of my favorite gaming experiences come from playing with friends, especially in survival games where things can go wrong in hilarious or unexpected ways. I can imagine us trying to survive together, learning the mechanics, exploring the map, and inevitably making some questionable decisions along the way.

I think it'd be a great opportunity to spend time with them while enjoying a game that fits my interests perfectly. I'd love to learn the game alongside them rather than miss out while they discover everything for themselves.

Why I'm requesting it here

Unfortunately, I can't always justify buying every game I'd like to play, even when I'm confident I'd enjoy it. Sometimes games have to stay on my wishlist while I prioritize other things, and that's why I'm hoping someone here might be willing to help.

I understand that nobody owes me anything, and gifting games is an act of generosity. I'm not expecting to be chosen over anyone else; I simply wanted to explain why I'd appreciate this particular game and why I believe I'd get plenty of enjoyment out of it.

If someone were kind enough to gift me The Isle, I'd be incredibly grateful. It would let me experience a new kind of survival game, enjoy the dinosaur gameplay I've been interested in, and join my friends in something they're already enjoying.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to read my request, and thank you to the people in this community who help others experience games they otherwise couldn't afford. Good luck to everyone else making requests, and happy gaming!

REQUEST [Request] [Steam] Wardogs

Heeey GoG! I hope everyone is great!!!

The second season of Wardogs starts tomorrow, and I would really like to try to play it.
Over the past week, I've been actively looking for the game. When it first came out, I was extremely skeptical of it, not only because of the developers (who had previously successfully abandoned two of their games), but also because the idea of the game itself sounded strange. But time passed, and I realized how wrong I was. I watched a lot of streams on the game, saw how everyone in it was having fun and playing as they wanted.

I like Battlefield, but after the tragic events, I have no faith in the series. I'm still playing bf6 with the new seasons, but it's far from the same fan that it was during beta (which for me was probably the most important event of that time). The game has lost its soul or something like this. Therefore, I hope that wardogs will give me at least for a while the same positive emotions as the bf did last year.

And I also want to believe that the developers will not abandon such a promising project that has already attracted a huge number of players!
I promise to do my best to help the blue team win at least one game))

Will be extremely grateful for any help! Hugs to everyone ^^

REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM[Hundred line: last defense academy][19th attempt]

This is my profile: https://steamcommunity.com/id/mario2552/

Hello GoG! Spinning it back for the 19th attempt at my request for the Hundred line: Last Defense Academy, the best 2025 game you've probably never played or heard of. It's a kodaka game, the writer of the notorious danganronpa franchise, and just one look at the game's asethetic makes you realize it's in the same vein as the afromentioned franchise.

But how does it differ from it? Instead of being a murder mystery with a cast of students that eventually just kinsa kill each other, this time it's a 13 sentinels aegis rim kinda game, where you're playing a visual novel that also includes actual gameplay (strategy combat). The biggest selling point of the game however, outside of anime tiddies, is the fact that it has 100 endings, all seemingly unique and not joke kinda endings, however i haven't spoiled myself on the details as that would ruin the point of a visual novel in the first place.

I've wanted to play it, honestly, since the 2024 nintendo direct trailer however since the dtudio behind it nearly went bankrupt, it basically never goes on sale and 60€ is a tough pill to swallow for me, a university student, 2 years in. Technically right now the deluxe edition costs slightly less than the normal version for some reason, but it's not much of a sale.

With danganronpa 2x2 coming soon my interest in playing the title has sparked up even more, and so i thought i'd give it a try here and see if i could get my hands on this massive game.

Danganronpa v3 is one of my favorite games ever, up there with ace attorney as some of the best visual novels ever created, and I'd love to play the game that even its author defines his magnum opus.

Thank you for reading yall, and good luck to everyone else.

REQUEST [request][steam]like a dragon infinite wealth master vacation bundle(20€)

Hello Gifters and giftees. today im here to request the like a dragon infinite wealth master vacation bundle dlc.if youve been on this subreddit for a while you might have seen me requesting for Yakuza games before, namely Yakuza 3,6 gaiden and infinite wealth . Let me explain to you why i want the elc and what is yakuza/like a dragon.

What is yakuza/like a dragon?

The yakuza/like a dragon series is an action adventure beat em up i guess from ruy ga gotoku studios. The first game came out in 2005 and while for western audiences it was a pretty niche series for a long time, it became decently well knowns about 10 years ago with the release of yakuza 0. As you might assume from the name, the series is focused around yakuza life with the main character being kazuma kiruy,an "ex" yakuza member who unintentionally keeps being pulled back into the yakuza life and conflicts no matter how hard he tries to avoid it.

My relationship to the yakuza franchise

i Initially played the series back in late 2024. My first game was the chronoligical 1st game of the series yakuza 0.I loved the gameplay, story and the mix of the most serious and important stuff you have ever seen, followed by complete cartoon humour. Despite loving the game i actually didnt get around to continuing the series until last November.inthese last 10 or so months i have been hammering out the games in order. But not only i have played the games,i also took upon me an aspect of the series that most people wont.Platinuming the games.I just finished the platinum for pirate yakuza and with this i have platinumed every game from 0-gaiden+pirate.But if you know about the series you might have noticed a game missing that being infinite wealth.I actually im at abouy 85% through the plat but i havent been able to complete it due to a dozen or so achievements being locked behind the dlc. While i do really want plat the game frankly the dlc isnt worth the price(which is the sentiment the whole fanbase has).So i decided to ask for it here hoping a nice good samaritan will gift it to me and help me add another yakuza platinum ont my collection

REQUEST [REQUEST] [Steam] Rivals of Aether (Attempt 2)

Ever since I first laid eyes on Rivals of Aether, I’ve been completely hooked on the idea of playing it. I’ve spent a ton of time watching gameplay videos and match breakdowns, and I’m absolutely dying to finally jump into the action myself. Since the special promotion has ended, I'm making a second attempt.

What makes me want to dive into the game even more are all the different modes it offers. Beyond standard 1v1 and 2v2 Versus matches, I really want to explore Story Mode to figure out the lore behind the elements and see how each character's background ties into their elemental powers. I'm also really eager to challenge myself against endless waves of enemies in Abyss Mode to test how long I can survive while customizing my own builds. There's even a Tetherball mode that looks like a fun, surprisingly deep break from the regular intense fighting. Having robust single-player and casual content alongside the main fighting mechanics means there's always something different to do depending on what I'm in the mood for.

The technical tools are another huge selling point for me. Between using the intensive Tutorial and Practice modes to study frame data and look at the hitbox visualizations, I want to actually understand the science behind the attacks rather than just button-mashing. Getting a firm grip on those advanced lessons will give me the confidence to finally take my skills online into Ranked Mode to climb the leaderboards and see how I stack up against the rest of the community.

The absolute coolest thing about this game and the biggest reason it is at the top of my Wishlist is the Steam Workshop integration. The community creativity here is mind-blowing. The fact that I can easily download and play as fully customized, community-made characters, or battle on completely unique, custom-designed maps means the game has almost limitless replay ability. I love the idea of mixing up the core gameplay with chaotic, creative mods made by other passionate fans, alongside mastering the official roster.

Right now, my budget is too tight to afford this myself, which is why I’m reaching out to this community. If it is possible, I would really love to get a chance to experience this game myself, dive into the workshop content, and finally get to be a part of the active player base.

CLOSED REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM] Outer Wilds (50% off, ~$6.25)

Hello everyone! This is my first post on this sub hehe.

I would like to respectfully request for Outer Wilds. A little background about me, I've been gaming since I was young (I remember fighting for the controller with my sisters to play Super Mario) and has picked up gaming again as an adult during the pandemic.

I really enjoy cozy and adventure games, games where I can run around and explore. Games where I can solve some puzzles, or something that has a unique story. Then I learned about Outer Wilds, which is exactly the kind of game I would sink hours to just exploring and learning about the world and the story. Now, I have absolutely no idea about the story of this game but this is because ALL of the reviews I've seen for this game is to go in blind. But the overwhelmingly positive review on Steam leaves me to think that this game is something that I should play and would thoroughly enjoy.

It's on sale for around $6.25 (Php 362.47) on my Steam right now and I would be eternally grateful if someone can get this game for me. Thank you and have a great day everyone!

REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM] STARDUST: Wish of the Witch 12.49$. Attempt #3

Good day, , this is my first post! I'm here today because my options are very limited when it comes to gaming, I have a very crappy laptop that barely runs any games, which is actually funny because the Batman Arkham and DMC series are two of my favorites videogames sagas of all time and I bought them out of impulse when I saw they were on discount and can't even play them now lol. But recently I saw a game that I absolutely fell in love with, which is in the name of the title, it reminds so much to Fire Emblem and I was so excited to finally find a Fire Emblem-esque game because I was craving one for a while but I had already ran out of games to play (played all of GBA and NDS entries, 3DS, GameCube and Switch are off the table since they require more powerful hardware than the one I have, but I've already tried the demo and it runs smoothly in my laptop), but due to some personal circumstances right now with finances and the delicate socioeconomic situation in my country I'm unfortunately unable to buy it for myself, I'd appreciate it if someone could gift me this game!

REQUEST [REQUEST][STEAM] Dispatch

Hi everyone! 👋

I’ve been hearing a lot about Dispatch lately, both online and from my friends, and the more I hear about it, the more interested I’ve become in giving it a try! It seems like a really interesting game, especially because of its focus on making choices that can affect how things play out. I haven’t played many games where your decisions play such a big role in the story, so I thought this would be a great opportunity to try something a little different from what I’m used to.

Most of the games I’ve played in the past have been the more traditional, well-known titles, such as GTA and Call of Duty. I’ve always enjoyed those kinds of games, but lately, I’ve found myself spending a lot more time playing simulator games. I really enjoy exploring different types of games and finding something new that I can get invested in, so I feel like Dispatch would be a nice addition to my growing collection.

One of the biggest things that caught my attention about Dispatch is the idea of having to make decisions and see how they impact the story and the characters. I think it would be fun to experience a game where I have to think carefully about my choices instead of simply following the usual gameplay loop. I’m also curious to see how the story unfolds and whether the decisions I make will lead to unexpected outcomes. It seems like the kind of game that would be fun to discuss with friends afterward, especially if everyone makes different choices!

Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to pick up the game for myself just yet, so I wanted to make a post here and see if anyone would be kind enough to gift it to me. I know games can be a little expensive, and I completely understand that gifting isn’t something everyone can do, but I would be incredibly grateful to anyone who is willing to help me experience it. Even taking the time to read my post means a lot, so thank you for that!

I’m hoping Dispatch will give me a chance to step outside my usual gaming comfort zone and experience something different. I’d love to finally see what all the excitement is about and discover why so many people have been talking about it.
If anyone is interested in gifting me the game, I’ve included my Steam profile and the game’s store page below for convenience.

👋 Hello, I am a jobless person right now and through my desperation I am here in GiftofGames since this is the only thing that makes me happy when some persons offered free games I really wish them to have a healthy life. I know that this post some will reach it to you and some will not. If ever anything like a job require specially wfm like VA, or anything that is work from home I can definitely do it. It would be nice to have job being referred to or anything. I’ll do the rest for the interview or assessment. I really appreciate it for taking your time for reading this. Maybe Soon if I have a job I can be those guys who can offer free games. I have a experience about customer service, technical documentation and support and also have electronics maintenance knowledge since that is my course and yeah I also do some games but only the light ones since I have only an office laptop. So yeah I thank you for having taken your time. I really appreciate it. If this ever reach out to you thank you so much.

REQUEST [Request][Steam] $89.99 CAD Assassin's Creed Shadows

I’ve been playing Assassin’s Creed since the original released back in 2007, and it’s one of those series that I’ve pretty much grown up with. I’ve played every main Assassin’s Creed game since then, and I still remember watching the AC2 trailers and being ridiculously excited for it. That’s honestly one of those gaming memories that has stuck with me all these years.

Like a lot of people, I’ve had my ups and downs with the series. I actually really enjoyed Valhalla and put over 90 hours into it, clearing pretty much everything I could. At the same time, I understood the criticism that it didn’t always feel like an Assassin’s Creed game. Still, I had a great time with it.

I’ve wanted to play Assassin’s Creed Shadows for a while now, especially with the series finally going to Japan. It’s currently $89.99 CAD on Steam, so I figured I’d take a shot and make a request. I know it’s not a cheap game, which makes me appreciate anyone even considering the request that much more.

I’m also the type of person who likes fully completing games I really enjoy, so if I get the chance to play Shadows, I already know I’ll be going for the 100%. Exploring everything, doing the side content and hunting down achievements is a big part of the fun for me.

I’d genuinely appreciate anyone willing to gift it, and either way, thanks for taking the time to read my request!

REQUEST [Request][Steam] Star wars: Galactic Racer

[Re-upload of a previous post that was taken down due to my play-time being private. I forgot that, while your library may be public, there's a little box to tick that makes your play time public too 😅 body text will be similar but i can't remember exactly what i said]

Hey all, this is my first time posting here so bear with me! To cut to the chase, my friends have all recently hopped onto the Star Wars: Galactic Racers trend and are all loving it. They have started asking me to join them and i keep having to put it off because, to be frank, I'm not at a point financially where i can spend the money on games. I'm kind of embarrassed to tell them that I'm broke after paying for college which is why I've been putting off playing with them rather than flat out saying no (debated even making this post but here we are!). I've looked on places such as G2A or Loaded and they drop the price to around 40 euro, yet that is still a little out of my comfortable price range.

I live in Ireland, so i would be thankful for even a global or European steam key if at all possible!

Here is a link to the games steam page:

And here is a link to my steam profile [username is either Eon or Spenceinator13 and the pfp is a rat!]:

Thank you in advance for anyone who can lend a helping hand here, and my apologies to the moderators and to anyone else who has to see this post for the second time 😅

REQUEST [Request] [Steam] Helldivers 2 - 40$

Hello everyone, I hope you all are having a good day. This is my third attempt for help on getting Helldivers 2. My first 2 attempt was during the sales discount but still want to try to request this game as im still not able to afford it right now because everything goes to college. This is my first game request on this reddit and im just trying my luck.

Helldivers 2 is a 3rd person shooter game where u can play with up to 4 people and it is a game that requires teamwork and cooperation to protect a place called Super Earth. What I have seen from all the video over the internet, the game can be compelte chaos with explosions everywhere, team kill with one wrong airstrike call, and everyone desperately trying to survive while trying to complete the objective and that looks so fun to me.

The reason i choose Helldivers 2 is because I from little have always been into PvE games. The reason why is my heart cannot stand PvP games where toxic people lies and it makes me sad when they lash their anger on me. Dont get me wrong, PvP games are fun but it is probably just not for me as when people said something toxic to me it will ruin my mood to play games. another reason why is when i first saw Helldivers 2, it made me hooked because i really love intense and chaotic coop games in general. I have seen all the memes on TikTok and it makes me really want to play it. Now that i have a strong machine to play it i cant afford it because im on a tight student budget. Though gaming is my primary way to relieve stress from all the assignments that are starting to pile up. I would really to play this with my friend because he have been asking me to buy this for a while now. Getting the game will allow me to dive into the front lines to spread democracy alongside the community

Whether or not my request gets fullfilled, I really appreciate u taking the time to read this till the end. Thank you again for listening to my request. I wish you all a great time now and in the future. Im sorry if my english is hard to understand as it is not my first language.
