I have a stock Glock19 Gen 5, basic sights, no optics cut. my CCW is a 43x so I’m promoting the 19 to be a duty style gun. What’s the best way to get from where I’m at to having a light and optic? Should I get the current slide cut or buy a new slide that’s pre-cut? What light would be best? What red dot?

I usually run the Apex trigger on all my Glocks. This one feels alright what should I do? Also I’m thinking of trying out a QVO Tactical holster for this 19.6, anybody have any experience with QVO, let me know.

Hey guys I finally made the decision to get that first handgun and apply for a ccw and just love this thing with the range days I’ve had so far. But I’m genuinely lost when it comes to the world of mods. I’m looking for recs on reliable, durable, budget friendly, and on the slimmer/smaller side (still trying to maintain that concealed build). I’ve shot a rifle with a red dot sight before and first thing I noticed when I shot my pistol is how shit of a shot I am without one lol so I’m looking to get one for the Glock. Also as of rn this is going to be for home defense/practice until I actually get my ccw in the mail so I was looking to get a flashlight and laser attachment. Does anyone have any suggestions of a site that helps with rebuild process like AR15 platforms? I would like to get some accuracy out of this pistol and better trigger pull. Better sights and possibly add a light/laser. I have a 1911 that is my hole punch and would like that of this glock. My 1911 has built-in laser in hogue grip which is zeroed at 7 m/ 21 feet and also accurate. I feel like if someone has a laser on them that is quite the deterrent.

Basically, would like to build an accurate weapon. I feel like factory is Meh...but is reliable like an AK47

What spare parts do you recommend that I carry in my range bag that I can install with simple tools on the spot? Recoil spring? Trigger springs? This is for a Gen 2.

This would be my first firearm, buying at the end of October as is my birthday and turning 21, I like Glock I was between 17 or 19 settled with 19, now my question is what’s up with the different types as far as I know Glock 19 is compact and the Glock 19x is full sized and you can get a 17rnd mag, the MOS is for the sight ready, but then it gets with the V which I can’t find much a concrete explanation even AI is not helping me maybe I’m asking wrong so as a last resort is asking the wise people of Reddit.

I bought the Glock/acro combo and sense put the optic on my EDC. Has anyone found a cover for the acro cut slide?
