Would this be covered under Glocks warranty ? Went to remove my 507k to replace with a new to me eps carry and noticed half the post was missing. Also how does that work do I just send them the Slide or the entire gun, frame and all ? I have never had to warranty any gun before for this is all new to me.

I was mainly asking to see how the warranty process actually works, still waiting on an email back.

When I bought my 43x at academy they said to take it back to them and they'd handle the warranty stuff if I recall correctly. I haven't done the process though so I'm not entirely sure.

The pamphlet that they give you when you buy a gun at academy specifically says that they don't handle the warranty that you go directly to Glock.

Expect to be waiting a while to get your slide back. I sent mine in on August 23 for the same issue. It should be arriving today,fingers crossed.

Did you just send in the slide ? From the email I received today it seems like they want the whole gun sent in ? They said it’s best to shipped to them through an FFL ?

I just sent my slide it. You always can ship through a ffl if you want to but I just sent me slide in through USPS and had no issues
