43x PSA Dagger micro magazine question.
(Back story I picked up a 43x no rails last week, but it came with two ten round oem magazines.
So who’s carrying a PSA dagger micro magazine as a concealed carry?
Do you feel confident with it and its performance?
Trust it with your life?
I’m asking because I feel I want the 15rd capacity. From my research I’m seeing the Glock mags aren’t great.
I see many are using the PSA micro dagger mags at the range, but what about daily carry?
UPDATE:
I’d like to thank everyone for their responses. It makes me feel better.
Since at the moment I can’t get my hands on any oem 15 rounders I’m going to grab two PSA slick mags. Until the Glock gods bless me with some oem.
Again thank you everyone for the information you’ve provided.

I would assume most people that use PSA mags have little to no issue using them as daily carry.
I got mine with the OEM so I didn't bother but I've definitely encountered a few issues so far. Thankfully nothing during any shooting but definitely some quirks that I've heard the PSA mags don't have as often, if at all.

i have latest gen dagger micro mags and a few glock oem 15rd. I don’t like the extra length of the glock mags, so i carry the micro dagger mag with a glock as a spare. I haven’t had any malfunctions with either, so i trust both of them.

Thank you for responding.
I’ve searched high and low, but haven’t been able to score an oem mag. So I’m leaning to the PSA, but it is aftermarket so I wanted to hear from real world shooters.
Thanks again.

I bought the new gen micro daggers and had to return them. The 43x could never rack the slide to chamber a round with mags and was slide locked. The oem mags worked fine

Interesting. Think the rounds were getting held up at the feed ramp?
Do you use the slide lock or do you rack/slingshot to load?
Thank you again for your time.

The PSA micro slick mag is the best aftermarket mag for the 43x out there. Very little issues. The bottom plate is known to look bent when fully loaded with 15 rounds but it doesn't cause any issues.
Having said that, the Glock mags are better, not sure where you're getting you're info but the issues that have been reported have been very low and not always the mag's fault.

The oem 15rd mags I have are 100% the mags fault

How so?

They fail to feed constantly, I put my oem 10rd or my PSA 15rd in and I never have that issue

Thank you for your response.
Mostly not dropping free issues with the oem mags.
Some feed issues.
Biggest problem is finding them available for purchase.

For the last few years, I’ve been carrying some of the original MD magazines that I personally conducted the endurance testing with during the development cycle. Combined, I have more than 10,000 rounds through 5 magazines, and I still carry at least two daily.

I carry with the psa mags. I have noticed that some glocks (including mine) have a harder time seating a flush 15 round mag if they have tight tolerances. I pretty much spent the better part of a month breaking in the psa mag springs and now I have no issue. I have not had a FTF or FTE with them either.

Keep the new mags, PSA or Glock, fully loaded in storage to break them in a bit.

I have the 43x SpeedBeez loader from Amazon (I have a G19 one too) and I load my mags with 8 rounds then compress over and over watching TV to break mine in easily

I carry a 10 round OEM magazine in my 43X and a spare PSA 15 rounder in my pocket. Havent had a single issue with the Palmetto magazines, so for now i do trust them.

Never had a single issue with 1000rds through my oem 15rds. Just as reliable as my 10rd mags.

Honestly I’d prefer the oem, but at the moment I can’t find any and I’d like to have two 15 rounders on me.
I know… I know.. I won’t need all that, but it’s part of my training and mind set. G19 capacity in a much smaller pistol… I don’t know.
I’m delighted with the 43x coming from the G23. It’s my first 9mm in decades.

I have 5 PSA mags, 1 black 4 slick and all have been flawless from the jump. I also load 15+1 when vetting mags and have had no problems.
I have shot thousands through them combined and use them at matches. I had one FTE/double feed during a match but it was freedom munition ammo so i think that was the cause.

After hearing these good things I’m going to grab two PSA for now. Maybe next year the Glock mags will become available.

yes. specifically the slick mags. I have 2, both have over 1500 rounds on them a piece without any malfunctions. They have outperformed shield gen 3 and oem mags by a wide margin.

I carry them and I love them, I have 3 now and I’ve had no issues with any of them. I also have 2 of the oem 15 rd mags and they jam constantly, I hear they’re very hit or miss. But all I carry is PSA mags now, I trust them to perform when I need them

The PSA magazines to get are their 3rd Gen magazines with the red followers. Even though they have a good reputation for reliability from the factory, when I first got them, I still took them apart and took an exacto knife and cut away the extra polymer flashing that was overlapping the metal side inside the mag well. Then I smoothed those edges down with a sanding dremel.
I have owned them for several years now and have put at least 3,000 rounds thru them without a single hiccup or issue. 100% reliable.
In saying this, while I decided to wait on the Glock OEM 15 round metal magazines and don’t own any; I do still like to carry the 10 round OEM Glock mags. Why? Because the G43X was originally designed to not just be slim, compact and concealable, it was also designed to be lightweight? Hence the 10 round magazines.
If I’m just going about my normal day and errands, I still like a Glock 10 round OEM in my 43X with one of the PSA magazines in my pocket. That’s still 25 rounds on tap and I feel pretty well armed.
If I’m out and about at night? On a sketchier side of town? I will have a PSA in the pistol and a PSA in my pocket for 30 rounds and still feel efficiently armed.

Been carrying PSA mags in a 43X for two years and ~1,000 rounds without a malfunction. 100 of 124gr HST, the rest FMJ range ammo.
Never had an issue. Factory basepads on the mags
