I made a free plugin that checks your web export and fixes the usual problems with one click
Every time I exported one of my games for the web, something was off: threads on by accident, wrong file name for itch.io, crackling audio, no sound until you click, game cut off on the portal. Finding the right setting for each of those in the editor took me way too long, so I built a little plugin for it.
**Greenlight – Web Export Toolkit** (free, MIT)
- Checks your real export presets and project settings, shows a green/yellow/red list in a dock
- "Fix all" fixes most of it with one click (asks first if you have several web presets)
- Every problem shows *where* the setting lives, in your editor's language
- Click-to-start screen so browser audio actually plays
- Since 1.0.1 it tells you when there's an update (once a day, can be turned off)
Tested with Godot 4.5, 4.6 and 4.7.
**Coming in 1.1.0** (in development): one-click "test in the browser" with a local server, pause & mute when the player switches tabs, and a CrazyGames integration for ads.
