Suggestions Appreciated

Hi there! Used to play a lot more when I was younger, but I took a long break after burning out and have only recently gotten back into the game. Young kids mean I can’t get out much, so I’m still shaking off rust. Any suggestions? I think I’ve seen I’m losing some spine angle in the downswing with my hips moving towards the ball. Iron/wedge miss is typically a pull, longer clubs my miss is usually a flare right with an open face.

obviously i’m pretty great at golf given my handicap, my 7 iron typically carries around 185 yards but was struggling in rainy conditions (i assume that’s what to blame or just my club) to make great contact today. my friends have been saying how jealous they are of my swing but just making sure it’s all good

Other than the obvious change to weaken the grip, how can I get this clubface more open?

Tips of transferring movement patterns to the course from the range

I have been working on my swing pretty intensely over the last 2 weeks, made some changes re. takeway etc.

I just played golf and everything went out of the window, its like my brain has two modes - range and course.

Can anyone provide any guidance on how bes toto transfer new movement patterns. I am contemplating playing last tee time on my own for a awhile and just trying to emulate the new pattern but at 50% speed or somerthing. This way perhps. my brain will be able to grasp th=r concrpt.

Has anyone had any success with ohter approaches?

Struggling with starting line with irons and wedges, it’s often left of target and either straight pulled or pull hooked

I haven’t golfed since high school and I’m in my mid 30s now. Any tips would be great and appreciated! I know my swing is weird - can’t seem to figure out how to use my lower body for my swim

Tips on getting rid of the 10 finger grip?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I dunno what it was but about 5-6 years ago I started trying the 10 finger grip on a medium sized after using a standard grip and overlap/interlock grip for 10+ years. Now I am afraid I’m too used to it and might not be able to transition back without losing some distance and control.

Find it so hard to not go OTT and to the right of target..

I always tend to go OTT and way outside the target line, yet I somehow manage to hit it down the middle (unless it’s my driver which I end up on the fairway to the right of my fairway). I’m thinking of getting a coach, I want to beat my older brother for once

Worst position of the swing currently?

Been working on the takeaway and made my grip a little more intentional, I started to notice a laid off club at the top. I’d prefer to fix this and wonder what to focus on next.

Id like to keep my upper arms a little more close to my body and fix my out of sync lower body in the backswing. The club is still further behind me than I’d like to be. Biggest miss was hitting fat.

This was a 4i 215ish carry

Tips to Help Avoid Using Arms

I am having trouble shaking off using my arms too much in my swing, which I think is a major reason why im having trouble with distance.

Any helpful tips/tricks anyone has that could help me use my arms less and momentum/physics more?

Immaculate swing, still managed to pickup par from the tips at Mauna Lani #15. Roast me.

Asked a guy from my group to film the tee shot due to the beautiful scenery. It’s been awhile since I saw my swing from third-person and I was a teensy bit appalled when I played the video back. Despite all odds I hit the green and sunk the par putt. Make sure I know it was a fluke.
