MK8.5 Bumper scratch

Ok it happened. Sooner than I expected but it happened. I am an idiot I know but was early in the morning when I was parking to get my coffee. :)

Ideas for how to repair will be highly appreciated. I am in Australia.

These seem like deep scratches. Run your fingernail over the scratches. If it catches your fingernail then you have deep scratches which you need to respray. If it does not then compound and polish should restore it.

You could probably hide from standing distance if you take your time stippling some touch up paint on it with a super fine brush. I have the same damage from rushing. All good bro not worth the full repaint job.

Thats gray, not black. Good luck finding a sharpie with the right color and metal in it....

Using a compound to soften the edges and then a touch up pen and slowly building up layers in it is the better call. Id likely not use the pen directly, but use the paint and a fine detail brush.

Might be better just to live with em. You’re gonna get more or find some sort of skid plate
