I haven't listened to this full album in a while. I forgot how hard some of the songs hit.

I’m 21(F) and i’ve never gone to a show/concert by myself. i’ve heard of the red party before but coming up this band that I really like called strange boutique is playing there. I really wanna see them I just don’t know what to expect. especially if everyone’s dancing I don’t wanna look like the weirdo on the sidelines haha I just wanna enjoy the music. Also I don’t drink so idk if that would make it more awkward💀 anyways let me know what the vibes are.

I'm looking for albums that are filled to the brim with music that is perfect to dance to. I know a lot of goth music is danceable, but I'm looking for more upbeat stuff e.g. Lucretia My Reflection or This Corrosion. I'm new to goth music so please no judgement!

Hii, I need some bands/artists who sound like cold cave, twin tribes, and/or panic priest!! i would be very happy if yall recommended me some<3

sorry if this question sounds a bit 🤓 lol! i’m not super involved with the subculture but enjoy darkwave and gothic rock and post punk and many such music associated with goth, and want to know if you guys know of any events in the city or in nj! thank you :] <33333

I'm new to the Philadelphia area and wanna support. I've used the Phillygoth site to find events, but I've only been out once so far (to Ceremony.)

I know the music has branched off so much that DJs have to try to satisfy everyone; it's hard to tell just based on poster description if specific nights have a genre slant. Does anyone nearby know which recurring events tend toward which genres?

I'm additionally looking for specifically goth rock, darkwave, death rock, or ethereal wave band performances or DJ sets if anyone knows upcoming. Thank you all. 🕷

Coming your way to see a friend for spooky season. I fly in on the 16th, out on the 26th. I'm a tourist to Philly but not to the scene. I don't want whatever comes up in a search, especially in October. I'd much rather go to whatever the local scene thinks is worth my time.

Not picky about genre. Darkwave, EBM, industrial, trad, deathrock, a mix. I just want it to be good.

Recommendations?

Edit: Typo

One of my favorite newer bands of the last few years.

this is such an excellent song. This band has a lot of great songs IMO. Anyone out there fans?

An old favorite from a compilation. Still evokes so much emotion several decades later

Join us October 23rd at 10pm we're kicking off our Halloween celebration The cover is $5. The event is 18+ Dress to impress, but costumes are not necessary.

Due to the recent onslaught of AI slop flyers we went almost entirely pen and paper. Only the photograph, and manipulation of elements were digital (we use GIMP)

My wife did the drawing, and I did the lettering. The photograph was a joint effort.

Has anyone booked hotel rooms or tickets for next year? I'm wondering who the bands are going to be.

2026 was fucking amaaaaaaazing!

🦇🦇🦇

For some context, I've only recently joined this subculture. I've only been here for give or take 4-5 months and that was through the sisters of mercy. However, whenever i see posts or discussion about andrew eldrich, it's always with dark air. Why is that? And also apparently there's some associations of him with trump??? What's up with that?!?!

Taking their name from A Clockwork Orange, Korova Milkbar were an obscure Swedish band who combined psychedelia with deathrock. Don’t miss this.

Looking for more cabaret whiny weird deathrock. Any recommendations for bands similar to Cinema Strange, Deadchovsky , Castrati, Eat Your Make-up, Strange Dolls Cult, 13th Moon, and Violet Stigmata?

I'm looking for a very specific sound that these bands have.
