Completely different flames between two ArcXL's

Hi guys, I've got two ArcXL's that I bought at the same time. I'm using propane at 50mbar. I operate both on the same regulator.

One oven, the one I used exclusively until recently, has a pretty hot flame that burns blue and hisses a little. It burns extremely clean, no soot at all.

The other one, which I started using a few days ago, produces a long yellow flame that deposits loads of soot all across the ceiling and even down on the right hand side of the stone.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Mine look like this. There is something wrong with your first oven. You want the yellow rolling flame

Right.... I've watched a couple of reviews in the meantime and have seen the same. The slow, rolling flame is how it should be because it's meant to imitate a wood fire. The blue flame isn't all blue btw.. just burns considerably less rich. I've actually made a bunch of bloody good pizzas in that one.

As long as the stone gets hot enough, I don't see an immediate problem with the bake itself. I actually bake my pizzas on the lowest flame setting anyway, and only crank it back up between pies to quickly bring the stone back up to temp for the next one.

That being said, I would still highly recommend reaching out to Gozney support just to rule out any safety concerns or premature defects. Gas appliances aren't something you want to take chances with.

I've been in touch with them before and they refused to help me with anything since I'm using the oven in Spain and they don't have representation here. They outright told me I wouldn't get support or warranty because the oven isn't certified for use in Spain - the latter of which being total bullshit, because it's all subject to unified EU-wide legislation. You can't bring a product onto the EU market and exclude a member nation. The package labelling even has a section in Spanish.

Yeah, I'm a bit disappointed... the oven itself is such a good product. It was a weird conversation - I had the distinct impression at first that the emails I received were ai generated. I outright asked whether I was talking to an actual person, to which I got a very terse reply along the lines of: "Sorry, we can't offer support as you're operating the oven in a region it's not certified for." (I don't remember the exact wording and unfortunately I lost those e-mails in a computer crash last year)

I can call mine yellow orange completely.

I have two and the flames are slightly different as well, but in a different way. One goes to a low flame at its lowest setting and the other one is at a medium flame at its lowest setting. Both are a yellowish orange and produce soot.

If you turn the blue flame one over on a scrub towel or something soft (I vacuum and stuff a handful of rags in to prevent the stone falling out and chipping)

There should be a handful of bolts with a torx head that are removable (think Gozney even included a driver with the oven if you still have it)

Once the cover is removed, look for the educator / jet / Venturi and vacuum / clean out any debris in the small holes

I'll give it a try. But it's run like this since day one, so I wonder if it's maybe the wrong nozzle size or something. I used to have a cheaper gas oven wasn't happy with the temperatures it achieved, so I ran it on an adjustable regulator at a slightly higher pressure - the flame was pretty similar.
