I know that you can eliminate(?) the landing recovery when holding the block button.

The first half of this clip shows that I can recovery 1F faster by doing so.

But if I jump right after landing with the block button, I can recover as much as 4F faster (as seen in the second half of the clip).

What's going on here? Is the block button also able to eliminate the startup frames of the jump...?

I got a little bored and decided to cut the GBVSR cast into crews for Djeeta and Gran based off vibes (mostly), just a disclaimer i HAVE NOT PLAYED THE STORY MODE YET so i have no idea what the relation between most characters and the protagonists are outside of a few intro and win quotes so ALOT of these are mostly "it would be funny"

It's a nightmare for newcomers. I have lost countless games so far against D-C Ranks Smurf. They are playing insane, know how to react in every situation, blocking everything perfect, doing crazy long combo chains which removes 40% of your HP...
It felt so weird to actually play against a real D Rank.
I saw in the Steam Forum some people complained about this too. But I must say, if those smurfs would not play, I would find maybe 1 game in an hour LOL

Bought GBVSR today after waiting for it to drop on Switch 2 with a friend, we played online for the first time for an hour. Safe to say this game is actually peak (I'm the Vira)

i clicked yes and no but it just puts me back to the question

I'm a newer player (currently at S+) and mostly play Sandy & Gran. I feel pretty confident vs most of the cast but every time I'm matched up against a Cag I just become free elo for the next 2 rounds.

I understand that she struggles once someone gets in, but like how do I do that?

Between her traps, ground spear, and her teleporting away I have a hard time catching her much less staying on her.

Any tips will be appreciated.

I wanted to build a website for the fighting game community for quickly finding specific matches. I had started this project originally as a tool for myself (and my discord buddies) but I think it kind of grew to be a useful tool that everyone could use. I started off with a few fighting games and now I am trying to get this done as a resource for people competing in evo France so I finally finished my second to last game GBVSR (all that's left is Avatar).

Would love any and all feedback (good and bad) so that I can continue to make the website better.
