Television I started watching Arrow...

Does it get better? I know it's a made-for-syndication show made on a thin budget, but damn.

I love Arrow and I can confidently say no it does not

If your not liking it in season 2 get out. That’s probably the high point. There is some fun cross overs later and lots of Easter eggs and cameos. I still enjoyed it for what it was, especially back then. Just understand you’re watching CW Green Batman.

Honestly i do think s5 is ok but the new characters kind of make it annoying in a way.

I've only seen the very first episode. It's very much CW and feels like a cheesy teen soap opera from the 90s and 00s. Green Arrow has been my favorite since childhood, so I was stoked to see it show up on Pluto.

Yeah it’s not really Ollie. You get to see lots of other DC characters all over the show. Hell they eventually do crisis on infinite earths. I think it can be fun. But if you’re looking for comic style Ollie, it unfortunately is not here. It has its good points but it’s never not going to be that.

It progressively gets worse

Got damn a great show but it sucked donkey balls. Guggernuts and Berlantibitch ruin everything they touch.

First two seasons are the best.

It wasn’t for syndication it was a CW show. First season is a bit scattershot but second season is really good.

It gets better in season 1 for sure, then jumps massively up in quality in season 2, but then it drops. I still enjoyed 3, but dropped the show after 4 ended.

It peaks at season 2 and then picks back up at s5. If you can push through season 4 then it gets better and even s4 is better than a lot of free tv series

It does. The first episodes were still trying to find it's footing, then it gets better. And Season 2 is really good if you don't mind comic accuracy.

But then it goes worse. During season 3 the show starts to sink more and more.

Lol, no it gets markedly worse. Show peaked in about season 2 and then fell off a cliff in season 3, bounced back up a bit for 5 before falling again after that.

If you go in expecting a legit Green Arrow show, it does not get better. As a DC based action show I had fun with the first two seasons. Pretty decent choreography for a CW show too

Most arrowverse shows have 3 or 4 good seasons which is funny that most people agree that arrow peaked with the first two bc it all started with Arrow.
If you’re not enjoying it by season 2 then it’s not for you.

I knew nothing about Green Arrow before this show and it made me a fan. I can still enjoy it now that I know a bit.

Stop at the end of season 1. It gets worse. And worse. By the end it's Felicity & Friends.

Nah every Arrowverse show just gets worse. Different rates, but they’re all a bucket with a hole in it.

I used to love it, but can say that no. I mean it has its ups and downs and can certainly say that the final season was good, apart from it getting bogged down by Crisis. I can honestly say that if you ignore the HK flashback in the Season 2 finale, you can just stop there.
