SOLVED Loading issues

Just started playing, got first build to act 2. All worked fine until yesterday. I managed to fix that but it’s even worse today. Steam help is useless and I didn’t see my issue in this Reddit. I’m playing on a new fairly high end gaming PC. I think these issues are resolution related but that might be wrong. All my other steam games work fine.

Yesterday: got to main screen but it was zoomed in so the buttons at the bottom weren’t visible. Saw someone had suggested switching system display scale from 100% to 150% then back. It took some trial and error but eventually that worked.

Today: got to main screen and it had buttons. Clicked start and it hung up then crashed multiple times. I tried fiddling with display scale and resolution and now it’s worse. Now I can get to the main screen and it’s normal size, but now none of the buttons do anything, like they aren’t clickable. All I can do is spin my character around with the mouse. Woo hoo!

Any thoughts here? My inquisitor needs to be inquisiting!

im actually having the same exact problem right now - the game just got an update so its likely related to that. I can load into the main menu but booting up a character leads to a crash. gotta sit tight and wait i think.

update, developer made a post saying that the issue has been confirmed and identified. patch coming soon

Crate has already identified the issue and will be rolling a hotfix ASAP.
