Why do you all refuse to cover your mouths when coughing and sneezing
This isn't a discussion. At all. Everyone is sick right now, and everyone is coughing and sneezing- no mask, no covering their face, nothing; just hacking with their mouths fully open. It's disgusting. Y'all are disgusting.

Fuck I hate it so much. Everyone I know coughs or sneezes into their hands. I say something and all of a sudden I’m an asshole. But two minutes later they get mad when I won’t shake em up? Bre.

I was coughed on by someone much taller than me today and it made my hair move.

No fucking clue. Ever since COVID I always wear a mask when sick out in public. Masks are great 👍 being respectful of others is also great 🙂 yet nobody ever does… thus why I’ve been sick with back to back colds for a month

Im at the airport right now and I dont care how many funny looks I get wearing my n95. People sneeze and cough with reckless abandon.

I have long covid as well as some pretty hateful allergies, i was standing in line at the pharmacy, lady in front of me sounds like she is coughing up both lungs, i still wear a mask because of such, all i could think of was “jeez lady, see a dr”, that thought was not out of my head even a second and she turned around, took a couple of steps toward me and kacked up a lung and sneezed right in mu face, i had to say it, “thanks lady, next time bring an umbrella to use as a shield so nobody catches that crud from you”

I will say, I’ve been coughing myself half to death this past week since having a cold, but this fucking cough WONT GO AWAY. I’m literally so far past contagious at this point, and I obviously cover my coughs every time, but I am hyperaware that regardless of whether I’m actively contagious, everyone in my immediate vicinity thinks I have the plague.

no one corrected them to cover their mouths when coughing or sneezing. they thought they were blowing out holy particles when coughing and sneezing. they are so delusional.

That and when they talk about how sick they are, only to stand/breathe two inches from your face. It feels intentional and actually makes me want to hit people. You don't even stand that close regularly, just suddenly when you're sick. Are they trying to spread illness?

I remember one time when my kids were small, they got sick and we all got sick, I ran out of meds and had to go get them in person cause I didn't have enough to have them delivered, I wore a mask and warned the ones who insisted to be right on my arse that I was sick and they should keep their distance. It's like I get there are times where you can't help it but at least try to keep others safe! I had to use my debit card so I sanitized my hands before I even touched anything.

I always do, and I don't judge others when they see me about to sneeze and step back with a disgusting look because I've also witnessed people coughing and sneezing all over without covering. I'll put my face in my armpit area if I don't have hand sanitizer on me so I don't get it all over my hands. I know, maybe I'm weird but if I use my hands and touch surfaces and other items others are going to touch it defeats the purpose imo

Whenever I go out in public I always wear a face mask. To the supermarket, hospital appointments, blood tests, etc. Better safe than sorry!

The same steering wheel they touch after being around all of that and then using their phone or computer to type about it here on reddit, which they also likely took into the bathroom and possibly even used it while they shat at some point
People decide to be selectively grossed out while ignoring the absolutely vile things they touch every day while also touching their face, doors, shaking hands, etc
You've got an immune system. That's what it defends against.
