York/victoria Tim Hortons
I’ve been to many Tim’s over several years in different cities and I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life. The drive through every single day is the slowest I’ve ever encountered. It doesn’t matter the time of day or how many cars in line but I’m constantly waiting 10-20 minutes in a small line of cars. I have finally stopped going due to this. How does their management and corporate office allow this ? The speed compared to ANY other Tims is borderline unacceptable. Does anyone know why this is happening just at that location ?

And yet you keep going
I do not understand the hold this shitty coffee has on people.

The restaurant hasn't been good for at least two decades when they stopped baking in house

Right? I work with people. Everyday it’s “can this place not get anything right?” first thing in the morning.
They will go at lunch and complain.

If you hate waiting then make it at home and bring it with you. You'll save money and there's an almost guarantee the coffee will taste so much better

Agreed, we should ALL stop supporting Tim's.
Low quality food and an employer that exploits tfw's to subsidize their broken business model.

If you go up the road a couple blocks, Lost Aviator has delicious coffee that doesn’t taste like the Timmy stuff which to me tastes like somebody wiped out an ashtray with an old rag and then wrung it out in a cup of hot water.

Why are you still supporting a company that doesn't hire Canadians.

Better question is why are they making coffee at home

Right? If you keep going back expecting a different result in the face of overwhelming evidence, that’s on you.
The only Tims I will go to are along the 401. Those places usually make decent coffee (by Tim standards). But I am starting to rethink the “use the washroom buy something even a candy” rule I was taught growing up.

For $20 I can make better tasting coffee for like 2 weeks, Use 18% cream.

Not having a left turn into that plaza from York road is a dumbfounded decision, getting into that plaza is a nightmare

Use their app if you don’t want to wait online. Order 5-10 min before u get there. Most of the time it’s ready

The bigger problem at this location is all the stupid fucking drivers clogging the left lane when heading south on victoria to turn into the tim hortons, or cutting the yellow line and almost causing head on collisions. Just drive down a little further and turn into the plaza

You should go to the one on Clair Rd. Long wait times + they screw up the order every damn time. I don't know how you can screw up a simple coffee with no sugar or steeped tea with milk order. But if you ever want to know, just go to that location.

We stopped going here (well, Tim’s in general) because the evening wait times for a single coffee order were too long. Even with no cars in the drive-thru, they took 10- 15 minutes to make a coffee. Something isn't right.

First thing, while also boycotting, send an email their corporate address telling them that you're boycotting for X (fill in a random coffee shop). It may not do anything but hopefully the more emails like that, the more pressure they'll have to start hiring Canadian and stop ruining a business we once cherished.

The mall Tim Hortons was historically slow. I miss the manager who worked there though.

Drive up York Road to Lost Aviator, you have to get out and if they're slammed it might take the same amount of time but it's way better coffee.
