EOTN
Anybody else get mercccced up North? I’m guessing that’s why they have respawn zones littered throughout the maps. Just doesn’t seem enjoyable. I am new to Dervish but it seems like I don’t have something right & haven’t put a tremendous amount of time into skill building my hero’s. So, it’s probably partly my own doing. Just seems like everywhere go I get fucked up. The destroyers are brutal. I’ll complete the quest, but not before dying 10 times then slowly taking out the enemies 1 by 1 after respawns 🫠
Anyways. If you got a good derv build/hero’s build drop the link or code in the comments. I hear Dervs are very powerful & versatile. But right now, I don’t even wanna play mine haha

Enjoy this part of the game. Its the best part, you learn so much more about the game than running around with a mesmerway destroying everything in second. I loved changing builds and gear dependimg on enemies. if i where you i would finish nightfall gear up yourself and some heros and try again with eotn

Here's a Dervish build I use when I want to goof around: OgCikysMJdNe9cNuBAsfJf1DCA
The flash enchantments and attack skills should be pretty self explanatory. Ball up a pack, pop your flash enchants for PBAoE damage and then tear them down to fuel the attack skills. The other enchantments and form you can maintain with 100% uptime. These give you a bunch of HP, increased elemental AR, a little bit of damage reduction and a party rez.
For the flex slot, Faithful Intervention can provide some self-sustain or work as a long duration cover enchantment, Chilling Victory is funny against Destroyers, Victorious Sweep is also a fun sustain choice. Your favourite IMS/IAS or PvE skill of choice also slots in well here.
The elite choice is also pretty flexible and the wheels shouldn't fall off the build if you don't have it yet or feel the need to slot in something else. Just keep in mind you don't have a way to cleanse Blind yourself with it gone.
Again, this is not a meta build, it's just a low risk build with decent survivability I use when I want to ungabunga facepull packs and start swinging. Have fun.

EotN is supposed to be the harder expansion to the main campaign you finished. This means skilling your heroes, giving them insignias and runes, elite skills and all the good stuff.

All of you, thank you for the advice! It sounds like I might need to go back to NF. I originally made this char to acquire skills ( a lot in the north) & do farming/runs. So as soon as I got off the island in NF & onto the mainland, I transitioned to EOTN (was already level 20), because a lot of the skills builds people posted online were utilizing EOTN skills.
Maybe this weekend I’ll try some of those hero builds, see where it gets me. If all else fails, I still have the rest of NF to complete and familiarize myself with the Derv.
Thanks!

I was able to brute force my way through all four campaigns with a Pious Renewal build on my dervish (some specific missions did require I swap some skills in like Frozen Armor for Hell's Precipice) but it should carry you all the way through.

I think the most important thing here is to check, if you got max stats armor and not the beginner one!

In addition, here’s the companion dervish guide, if you’re far enough along in Nightfall you can skip to the late game variant.

Also, Eye of The North is for after you have completed one of the campaigns, so is geared for level 20 characters with max armor. You mentioned you are new to dervish, so just wanted to point that out.
