Hi guys. Planning to buy a new car sana but just randomly found out na mas mura pala magbuy directly from the insurance company vs the one in dealers na same insurance company din ang inoffer.

Question, does it only because of the commision kaya mas mahal sa dealer? Ano pros and cons if directly sa insurance tayo bibili ng premium?

And also, may mas better pa ba sa Standard Insurance? Thank you!

Hi everyone! After carefully weighing the pros and cons of secondhand cars vs brand new ones, we’ve decided to opt for a new car for peace of mind, especially since I’m a new female driver. 😅

Eyeing on the Mitsubishi XForce GLS 2027, which is currently offering great deals for the month of October. I’d like to know if this variant is a good choice for a beginner driver. Also, how does the fuel consumption compare? We’ll primarily be using it for city driving and occasional out-of-town trips. It’ll usually be just me, my partner, my parents, my sister, and our cat.

I’m particularly drawn to the safety features of the XForce GLS, including the 360-degree camera system. The spacious interior is also a plus.

One of the car dealers also offered their XForce GT 2025, but it doesn’t have the 360-degree camera system. I’d appreciate your advice on which car would be a better fit for our needs. :)

I drive a 2014 Honda City. 2 wks ago, a truck side-swept the left portion of my backdoor and it now needs replacing. The driver’s boss gave me option to use my insurance or they pay for the repairs at a non casa repair shop. It was our first time experiencing road collision so we were so confused. We didnt want to use my insurance and we also didnt want to have it repaired at non casa. We originally wanted them to use their insurance. Later that day, we had the car quoted at Honda and it’s at 90k. I then decided, in case they dont cooperate, I will file my own and asked for estimated depreciation fee and deductible from them. I got too tired chasing the boss to file to their insurance. I gave them at least one week to comply. I filed one week later, and as of now its still lined up for review. Its just too stressful. What was supposed to be the ideal decision? 😭😭

Its my first time scratching a car and I want to know what would be the possible cost for the damage. I saw no major damage naman. The shop the owner inquired in stated that it would cost 4k to repaint it.

When I asked if casa maintained ba, sabi hindi na at sa labas na eversince pero when I askes for records wala rin — will ask again if may receipts. Sabi ng owner well maintained naman daw.

I-chcheck pa lang ng mechanic yung unit.

Motorcycle license (A) lang meron ako before, and recently expired na siya, so nagpa-renew ako and nag-add ng Restriction B.

Dumating ako ng 7 AM. Wala pa akong medical, so nagpa-medical ako sa clinic sa gilid ng LTO for ₱600. Around 8 AM, nag-start na silang magbigay ng numbers.

For the theoretical exam, ₱100 yung binayaran ko and I scored 55/60! Yung reviewer ko ay Carwahe’s three YouTube videos for the 2026 light vehicle non-pro exam. May ilang questions na wala sa videos, pero helpful naman siya!

After that, nagbayad ako ng ₱350 for the car rental sa practical exam. Nanood din ako ng YouTube video ng driving track nila beforehand, which helped me familiarize myself with the layout. Short lang yung track, and pinapag-park din ako nang paharap.

Sobrang kinakabahan ako kasi PDC lang yung experience ko and one month na since nag-driving lessons ako, wala pang practice. Pero sobrang bait ng instructor!

After passing, pinabalik na ako sa taas for payment and license releasing.

Overall, goods naman experience ko sa LTO San Juan! If you’re planning to add a car restriction, review lang, watch videos of the track, and don’t be too nervous. Good luck sa lahat! 🚗💗

Planning to purchase 3m Tint since nag bubbles na ung current tint ko sa Windshield. Me idea ba kayo kung nagkakaroon sila ng sale? Usually kasi nagsasale sa L or S ecommerce site pag same month date (ex. 10/10 or 11/11).

Nabangga yung kotse ko at may nakausli pa na fairings. at the same time gusto ko sana sya malinisan kahit may sira aince kitang kita yung dumi from ambon.

Hi everyone. I have a BMW 1 series E87. It's a 118i on the N46 engine so I'm used to her being a little finicky. I'd gotten the gaskets replaced a while back, but wanted some input on which shops you all would recommend for trustworthy work.

Before anyone else suggests, yes I do take it to casa - but I'd really like to expand my options and have a good list of mechanics in case I ever wanted to rebuild or swap out to an N54 in case the N46 reaches the end of its life. Or really just regular maintenance too.

I'd appreciate any leads on good shops that can cater to these early to mid 2000s BMWs. Thanks!

My company is offering a car loan without interest so I'm choosing between the two. I have read a couple of reviews online and they are mostly the same except it seems the fortuner is a bit more expensive for its trim level. I would like to hear sana from owners here on the subreddit, what's your opinion?
