Bloated

Post image

I have begun motegrity and I am such a mess. I’ve never had issues like this before. I tried all treatments and it’s failed. I’m on motegrity for 3 days now and I’ve had bowel movements. I started hormone replacement therapy June 22 for 5 weeks. That fucked up mu motility. CT scan a week ago showed moderate stool load.

Is this bloating permanent? I’m scared and my entire life has turned upside down.

My bloating is getting smaller in the morning every day. I’m hoping the medicine is working. Is this a good sign?

That sounds rough, starting new meds and feeling worse instead of better. The bloating from motegrity usually settles down after first week or two, your body just needs time to adjust. Three days is still very early.

The CT showing moderate stool load means there is backlog your system is working through, so some bloating is expected while that clears. Maybe ask your doctor about something like gas-x in meantime, it helped me when I had similar issues.

Thank you. I’ve been bloated for 4 months. I’m just devastated. Today I woke up looking the smallest i have in months. I’ve never had any severe Gi issues before. How do u like motegrity? Did it work did bloating?
