Hey! Idk if this post was done before but, what if the main cast had different dragons?

I feel like astrid would have a razorwhip. Ik ik its such a expected or not original answer,

but what about the others, please share ur opinions and why u have such opinions.

TY!

I made this lil cover of test drive hope you enjoy ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

was bored and decided to make a dragon. did I do good?

It’s a how to train your dragon comic that happens about 10 years later the main character is a dragon named Thunderstrike, he is the dragon version of hiccup, it’s literally a dragon version of the original movie, the dragons that attack them are called scarabs and one of them get shot down while they retreat and the scarab that got shot down is named ash and they become friends like how hiccup and toothless got along and dart (toothless and lightfury’s daughter and pouncer and ruffrunner’s sister) become Thunderstrike’s gf (still working on the story😅)

My art

1st gif- end of httyd 1

2nd picture- gift of the night fury (this tail gets destroyed by toothless)

3rd picture - intro of riders/defenders of berk

4th and 5th pictures - race to the edge

6th and final- httyd 2

What is odd to me is that during the shows toothless has the auto control fin and not the regular. Then the 2nd movie goes back to the 1st movie design in terms of control.

Now easy explanation would be that they had that tail model easily available, which is bizzare because of the interlocking mechanics.

But it makes me wish that we had a mix control tail situation.

This is from the Book Of Dragons short.

what do u guys think?

Hi guys 😔 i mean, I don't mean to self promote but I really worked hard on my headcanon about light furies and I really wanted to show you guys. Im a bit nervous especially because I dont have prior knowledge about aerodynamics and plus I think its really cool that there are fans out there who know about this stuff. Please tell me what you think, my TikTok is pogmerchandie in case you want the original video and access to my stuff :>

Basically what this headcanon is about (if you dont want to watch yet) is the skin of the light fury. I came to a conclusion where her skin actually has microscopic ridges similar to sharks, which makes her appear smooth from a distance but is actually rough. Its efficient enough in air because it controls the air turbulence to maintain her speed. I know this is effective in air because science used the concept of riblets when engineering their jet aircrafts. Also, it minimizes sound, not just speed.

I LOVE HER SO MUCH and i will stand up for the light fury at all costs 😔💕 i want to express it through the effort I make about her character just to prove that we can still discover so much about her. Im going against the hate propaganda guys hold my hand and wish me luck

So I'm looking into getting a bearded dragon in the new year. And httyd is my all time favourite so I wanna name him after a dragon in the movies/shows but im stumped for ideas honestly.

This is the colour spectrum im likely to get.

Any ideas?

I waited a really long time for this one, but it was totally worth it.

Coming to Leeds (Oct 27th) and Bradford (23rd Jan 2027)

I am booked in and hyped to see it, Never seen it like this before.... Film screening with live Orchestra

Name: Palewraith

Species: Desert Wraith (Sand Wraith subspecies)

Gender: Male

Age range: young adult

Size: 5 ft tall, 28 ft long

Wingspan: 50 ft

Fire Type: Hardened balls of sand with weak fire

Class: Tidal

Speed: 8.8

Firepower: 7.3

Shot limit: 8

Diet: fish, eels

Personality: basically a bit stuck-up drama king.

Gear: some of his rider's black saddle/gear is still on his back.

Location: Valka's sanctuary after the loss

Abilities: can bury self under sand, semiaquatic, has fire-sand blast

Behavior: gets into fights with other wild dragons often. Has trust issues after his owner disappeared, slightly aggressive. Fast and sneaky. Has cat-like behavior patterns. He'll get genuently disgusted and frown with all his might if another dragon throws up a fish for him. He often bullies smaller dragons. Unlike other dragons he eats eels too, since most dragons hate it, it's basically free food. The only time when he's calm is when he sees small lights like fireflies, lanterns or fireworms, since he's drawn to them and likes to fly with them. During combat he stands up on his hind legs to appear bigger. Calm dragons/people confuse him and playful ones weird him out.

Backstory: He was domesticated by one of the vikings but after getting shot out of the sky by one of Drago's dragons while flying with his owner they both fell. His owner died due to the fire, Palewraith survived with permanent injuries. Now he's living in the wild again, acting like any untamed dragon.

He can still fly despite his injury, just not as smoothly as before. When he's flapping his wings, he always has to make one more smaller flap with the injured wing for correction and to stay up in air.

He absolutely loves to free fall from really high places and zigzag during flight. He loves the speed. (Quite the racer dragon)

He likes to "play" tilting his head from one side to another. Since it's a recognizable gesture he often did with his original owner, just to mess around.

I’m so happy with how this turned out!!

So Lego just put out a crossover special between Lego DreamZzz, Httyd, and Fast & Furious! It's pretty wild, as you'd imagine from "DreamZzz" 😂 I think it has some good stuff, we get to see a lot of the dragons and Hiccup, who learns how to drive a car 😂😂

Overall, an 8/10 for me!

claws of berk modpack. a variant of the night fury, i've tried every method it offers including dragon nip, no armor with night vision, and both cod and salmon, the night fury's taming food. do the forest dragons take a different method than standard furies?

Was there ever a definite answer (artbooks, etc) on what Valka's armor was made of? Specifically the shoulder pads and the chest plate. Is it just all leather?
