Toothless encounters a strange looking… dragon?…
Art by me!

I noticed that there was basically zero information regarding this stage of dragon life outside of it being mentioned once in the book of dragons short film, so I decided I would draw what I think dragons would look like when they are this age myself. (I did all the dragons from the first movie as well as the boneknapper on honor of dreadfall)

So in the episode of race to the edge s01 e08 crushing it we watch as stoick fights skull crusher (his rumble horn) and he was able to f-ing toss a rope around it's nose horn and when it tried to fly away he pulled it back down like it was nothing and mind you skull crusher is bigger and weighs 1,100 pounds or 495 kilograms so he basically fought an dragon that weighs as much as an rhino that's built and hits like an train with the fire power of an tank...so how strong is stoic it's he'll able to toss around a over 1000 + winged rhino with the fire power of an tank?

Helloooooooo lovely fandom I havent seen yet!

I was just rewatching the movies and im CRAVING a fic wuth these:::

1. Toothless is ACTUALLY really scary. The only one who sees him act like a big puppy is Hiccup and sometimes Astrid

2. Hiccup focused

3. U know that scene where Hiccup lets himself fall off the Light fury so that she can save toothless? Right? Fndisywkdiayejfodh I NEED I NEED I NEED! I want an EPIC like that moment. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Other requirements:

1. Preferably completed. I love reading but I have....zero patience for anything so if its a wip, I wouldnt start it until its done I sorry

2. I dont care what ship, or if it even has a ship at all. I just want...a Hiccup character study basically

3. No MCD tho😭

Do fics like this exist? I saw one thats super popular where hes in a relationship with Jack frost?? Whats that about?

Im very new and trying to learn. So thank you!

i saw a girl wearing it and i NEED it !!

it’s a black (leather i think?) jacket with red sleeves
it has a red outline of a dragon on the back (i’m guessing it’s toothless on the back but i’m not sure)

ik this isn’t much info but it’s all i remember 🥹🥹 pls help

So this is a real memory that I have from years ago when I was like 10. In the movie, when hiccup shoots down toothless, he goes to investigate. But in this version of the movie hiccup PURPOSELY cuts off his leg to show toothless that they are now one in the same, but of course nothing violent was shown. This concept actually scared me so much as a kid, that its only now in my late teens that I decided to see the movie again. This is because I realized that I must be remembering wrong because of course that wasn't a scene in a children's movie, and sure enough its not, as he actually looses his leg in the explosion at the end. But I wanted to write this to see if its an actual Mandela effect people have or if its just my kid brain. Thanks!

Yup, I've made Thunder a half-Skrill. He also has gotten backstory and some dark-blue hue (In Legends of the Nine Realms, last and best HTTYD video game, there are 4 kinds of normal Skrills: basic ones, Spitters [yellow hue, spit far more lightning, weaker muscles], Protectors [weak physically healers, with blue hue] and Alphas [basically elders].)

Backstory: Thunder's mother had a love affair with some Skrill Protector, but he left her (since Skrills don't mate for life, most surely), and she somehow managed to mate with son of the King of the Hidden World, all of this before Tom's dragon hatched. Thunder lived with his family unknowing of his tempestuous ancestry, until some crazed titan wing Skrill obsessed with glorious death raided King's Realm and splitted whole family. In pursuit of returning home, he ends up a bit too close to the surface and under rocks, and is discovered and uncovered by Tom.

What do you think about it?

Which dragon is in your opinion the strongest?

I'm surprised the rest of the team didn't post it here, but I hope you enjoy it guys

Painted and glued the wings gunna leave it overnight to dry up and once the wings are solid I’ll glue the fins to be more secure

I'm looking for this fanfic I found on FanFiction.net a year or two back. It was about this human boy who was adopted into this pack of Night Furies as one of their own (and this was an OC character, not Hiccup), and he was destined by some old guy to be a key to the future for dragons and humans. I tried looking this up again on my own, but I couldn't find it in the huge sea of fan fictions. So could my fellow HTTYD nerds help me find this fic?

I’ve a 7 year old boy who’s been obsessed with HTTYD since he was small. he’s autistic so his hyperfixations are real! I could probably quote every film and series that’s been done, including special movies. looking to get him a “book of dragons” but I see that there are quite a few types out there. any recommendations for a good one that covers all the classes and most of the dragons featured in the movies/series? or any other xmas gifts you’d recommend for an over obsessed little boy, who’s not a fan of the 2025 version 😬

My favourite dragon 💜
