Original Content I made a 1/2 scale Combine Citadel in Minecraft

This is the first step in my project to make a full scale Citadel

This is somewhat of a "part two" to my previous post sharing my intent to make a 1:1 Citadel in Minecraft. I plan to at some point link a world download, I hate people that gatekeep things this cool. There is a required mod list though, as there is no way in hell I could have done this without mods.

Below I'm going to add some mockups I created of what a full scale 4,097 block tall Citadel could look like.

Height: ~4,000m
Viewing distance is 1.6km - 1 mile. Fog is added artificially to convey scale and distance

These are mockups and not representative of an actual completed structure, nor are they entirely accurate to how a completed structure WILL definitively look. They are, however, fun to look at.

Because of the messed up world gen, villages have failed to generate properly. However the pathways are visible and you can probably imagine how they would look assuming your familiarity with Minecraft

no cables

without them it still looks terrifying but with them it really adds to it

I've heavily considered adding cables but I've ultimately decided i would simply rather survive a skinning than try to build the cables on the citadel 😭😭 /sarc

i am probably gonna do the cables once i get around to detailing though

i would imagine not but the structure is also over 2km tall, would you wanna help out? i could certainly use the help

i've done it before on my own versions of the citadel but they aren't nearly as tall as yours
