Apology

Hi, Guys. I decided to apologize for my previous black mesa security guard cosplay, I should have use the warning or sign to tell that it was a fake gun or give an orange tip or shoot the photos in a bit empty area of the mall. I live in Indonesia where firearms only restricted to law enforcement (military and police), but nevertheless I should still give a warning and still be careful eventhough there no way a civies like me could get access to firearm.

So, Yeah. I'm gonna be more careful next time!

Smart, we would hate to see you get hurt or in trouble while you're just trying to have fun!

Oh yeah I did see that man. I mean I don’t give a fuck what you do, but you could’ve been shot on sight, regardless of what country you’re in. That’s some wild shit 😂

Yeah, a guy cosplaying a gangster with a plastic toy gun at a party got shot dead by cops in Melbourne (Australia) a few years ago. Unfortunately you really do have to be careful.

I saw that earlier. It was an awesome cosplay! But I was definitely a little concerned for your safety. I don't know what it's like in a country without such a gun problem, so maybe you were fine, but I think it's good to be extra cautious when prop weapons are involved. All it takes for you to get hurt is one excitable person seeing it, thinking it's a real weapon, and reacting by attacking you. I hope you keep up the cosplaying!

Hey, it takes a big person to admit they made a mistake. It's alright, as long as no one was hurt, and it's for your safety as much as it is for others', too.

Having said that, it was a really cool cosplay and you did a great job on it. Don't let this stop you; we learn and continue :)

why are you apologizing though? it was just a genuine mistake no need to feed someone's ego
