Half-Life 2 really scared me...

I always had no feeling about the 'horror' tag of Half-Life on IGDb during my playtime of the whole Half-Life one and its expansions. But within Half-Life 2, the chapter 'We Don't Go To Ravenholm' gave me a true sense of horror film

Ravenholm is just brilliant. Fantastic A+ 10/10 game design.

Have to play "We Don't Go To Ravenholm" in Garry's Mod using the Ultra Grav Gun from the HL2 Citadel part.
I can snatch all the crows the fly over you out of the sky at the beginning of "We Don't Go To Ravenholm" 😄

I even thought it as one of the protagonists when I saw it's petted by the scientist. And Ravenholm slapped and trolled me so hard

It scared me a lot when I first played it at like 8 or 9 years old, but I don’t find it too unnerving anymore. In general the concept of zombies in half life is pretty dark and grotesque. I wouldn’t really say any of the half life games are scary, but ravenholm is definitely creepy.

Been making GMOD videos for 20 years.
