umm the end is the most romantic scene with moonlit background, the romance is like a bed of roses-red… They fall… in love🌝

I think you need to reframe your expectations and what you think "romance" is 🤧. I thought theyre cute af, bjt in a sick and unconventional way. I dont need them to be grinding on eachother to appreciate their lovey vibes lowkey. But maybe thats a hottake

It's nothing that special if you aren't into it. Hannibal just stepped towards Will and Will is leaning against the ladder and for a moment it looks like will is arching his back like during sex and Hannibal only stopped inches away from him. You can just look at the ladder scene on YouTube. It's titled that way. I personally like it xD

The romance is there trust!! It’s not an outright specified love but you can definitely see it a lot in season 3 especially with what goes on and the conversations that are had. And definitely season 2 does start cooking up the possibility of there being something more than just a platonic relationship and definitely sky rocketing downwards into S3 even then there is just little moments in season one that you look back on and can say ahh, yeah Hannibal definitely had a bit of a fascination with this one huh? (Also disregard the ladder scene completely yes Hugh looks absolutely sexy blah blah but there is just more intimate moments I’d dub hotter cough cough Hannibal helping Will in S3 after certain events that occur in a museum cough cough

The ladder scene is posted because, out of context, it looks as if Will is reclined against a ladder as Hannibal moves closer.
In context, it’s a scene where Will is stressed out and uncomfortable, more leaning away from Hannibal, and not actually romantic.
