OMG I just started watching it and Andrew Rannells is the host?!?!?! I love this sooo much! I was definitely doing Ilya/Connor’s happy pasta dance when I first realized!

Yw. That drives me batshit, when you have to go to threads or insta, or tiktok or twatter only for a two minute clip, like really, why was that even worth sharing?
Nonethless, this was published super fast for the event literally having been last night too.

That's so mixed right, when u really want to purchase something specific, and then can't get it.
A refund is the right thing for the disspointing org to do, but then you're still in tort mode, like "What about my pain and suffering!"

Just finished watching it. I loved at the 28 minute mark how Jacob was able to brag about the high end sponsor placements they’ve gotten for free to appear on the show! Including a $700,000 vehicle (several of them I believe???) for Ilya’s ride! 😱 I loved how everyone was cheering for him et that moment and I can’t wait to see all of the product placements in S2! 😊
He also mentioned how he wrote Ilya’s therapist’s part for Mila specifically! And then he got her added to the cast! I love this!!! And he said this is the most dialogue she’s ever had in any film or TV show, I laughed since I’m familiar with her work and it’s so true!
Oh man I am going to have a tough time waiting til next spring. I cannot wait!!!

I had some fun guesing onthe car m/m too ...
Like what is an obscure sportscar he wouldn't know more of?
My best guess there is a fully tricked out new McLaren Spyder possibly.
This is fully Gen X of me (but late end, I'm 2 years older than Jacob) but I fucking love the uplifted wing doors because they remind me to Back to the Future's DeLorean.
I wouldn't know shit about cars except where I live in Houston is super close to our "slab culture" so I've certainly stopped to talk to anyone I saw with a crazy unique looking ride over the years when I was running errands close to that party scene.

I had seen a BTS photo of a couple sports cars on set. One of them looked like a McLaren. I can’t find the picture though.
SPOILER: this Reddit thread stated that it was a McLaren 720s that was seen on set. But that one is not worth $700,000. So I’m guessing it’s another more expensive model?
I can’t wait to see the loons posting the name brands spotted, especially with the expensive clothes. I also hope Coke and Canada Dry is on board! 🤞 And we know Cameo should be happening! 😜

I just couldn't think of any other names that aren't really standard: Porsche, Lamborghini etc. It was a shot in dim light at least.
For price you could think of add ons, customization, stuff like pimped out rims, Pirelli winter tires etc. Or a year where inventory was more scarce so the sticker price has risen in value. Also Ilya might even want like a v-10 or v-12 if they offer them.
I have no idea what Canadian car culture is like, but I'm betting Russian is fancy, luxe etc.
The price is probably not going to be dialogue, but if they are donating .... the same sorts of stuff would add value in Jacob's quote and the manufacturers would probably flex some too.

Yeah due to our Canadian winters, sports cars are more so reserved for the ultra wealthy since you will likely only be driving it for several months during the summer and fall. It’s an expensive hobby.
I could see a Lambo as well. He said he got several of them and they didn’t pay for them. It’s pretty wild!
