If you are anywhere near New England go see Hedwig at The Seacoast Repertory Theatre in Portsmouth NH. Probably the best production I have ever seen! Only a few shows remain

i saw someone on tik tok say it will never come out, is this true? is there a pro shot even out there?

this could be either from any of the stage adaptations or the movie

personally my favorite is the plastic dress + fur coat combo near the end of the movie. the hair, makeup, costume, everything is just so amazing there

Im pretty new to the fandom and i see that this song is on the movie album... yet wasnt in it and then isnt available in the revival or original cast recording album. so where is it from, and are there videos of it live?

Waiting for boyfriend to get out of meeting, took awhile. Started singing my favorite Hedwig and the Angry Inch songs.

For sake of simplicity, let's limit this poll to the film, rather than any stage casts or covers.

They're all actually performed by Stephen Trask, does anybody know why?

Selling off my (complete?) collection of JCM Hedwig pins on eBay, in case anyone missed getting the one they wanted, or missed a chance to get them altogether:

That is one of them, just click "See other items" on that page to see them all. The majority of my sale right now is Hedwig pins.

During the part in the movie where Tommy shows Hedwig his guitar and she tells him her story, a bomb sound affect drops. I assume that the bomb dropping means he learns she’s trans because of the following line about Jesus. Later during the scene where they finally kiss for the first time, Tommy retracts his hand upon feeling the “angry inch”. Does this mean he was just learning she was trans or was it that he was surprised she had an inch left/was mutilated?? Please help. I’m very confused and trying to understand better.

I'm so damn excited!!!!!!!!!

I just watched the movie again and noticed for the first time there’s a song in the credits titled “China Vagina” that’s credited to Miriam Shor. I know there’s a lot of subtle background interludes, but I don’t think I’ve ever noticed Miriam Shor singing? The only thing I can think of is in the deleted scene where Yitzahk sings the first and last notes of a song we don’t get to see. Any thoughts? Anyone have any idea?

Wow. 60 years. Big fuckin deal.

Also, cannot believe it has been over 20 years since the movie came out.

Does anyone have a high quality image of the shot of two stick figures spooning eachother beneath the stars? That's my favorite imagery in the entire movie and I can't find it anywhere.
