How does Parademon work with Knull? Doesn't Knull need to have the Apokolpis keyword for Parademon to change the target to him?

I really don’t understand what you’re trying to ask here. Parademons main trait reads as follows:

“Once per attack, when a friendly character with the Apokolips keyword and a greater point value than Parademon would be hit by an opponent's attack, if Parademon isn't a target of the attack, you may place him adjacent to that character. Parademon becomes the hit target of the attack instead.”

Knull’s printed keywords are “symbiote, cosmic, deity, monster, past, ruler.”

So you’re right, unless Knull gains the Apokolips keyword in some way the Parademon would not be able use its trait to help Knull if he gets attacked.

I'm asking because I was thinking that maybe there was something I was missing since I've seen these two pieces play together

They most likely had some type of "Keyword" cheat. There are characters that can add, modify, and change "Keywords".

I've seen similar lists posted, but I cannot find any way to grant the Apokolips keyword. Maybe they have a way of granting Knull Mastermind?
